25/02/2026: Always a warm welcome. Always fantastic food. If I lived in Waterford I'd dine here every evening.

01/02/2026: Party of 4 turned up without a reservation and were acommodated by the staff so nicely. Great selection on the menu, made it hard to decide, I wanted everything! Best patatas bravas I've had outside of Spain. Desserts were elegant and delicious. Loved the wine, the ambiance all out great end to a lovely day trip to Waterford. Highly recommend, good value for money 👌

25/01/2026: Exceptional food. Can’t believe I never went here before but I thought the food was outstanding. Starters were delicious and beautifully presented. We had venison and the halibut for mains. Both excellent. Will be back again!

27/01/2026: Busy restaurant close to Bray Harbour. Decent food and friendly staff. No reservations taken so you may have to leave your number and get a call. Good time to take a stroll along Bray promenade. Breakfast menu available until 12pm and a decent selection for the rest of the day.

08/02/2026: Fantastic food. Best brunch I've had in Ireland and I've had a few. Just had the Turkish eggs and they have set the bar for quality and taste. Do yourself a favour and come here. Well worth a visit.

01/02/2026: Arrived there recently for a few drinks i didn't stay to long as the front bar resembled a dog show, there was 6 dogs roaming around the front bar with their owners very off putting especially inna premises that serves food.

17/01/2026: I booked a table for four, for a girls catch up. It’s a good spot to meet when people are coming from multiple directions. (Sligo, Carlow and Dublin) The room was so warm and cosy. The staff were attentive without being intrusive and the food was exceptional. We had a fantastic catch up and there was no pressure on us to give up the table. Price of food was very reasonable. I would highly recommend this venue Thanks for a wonderful meal.

22/12/2025: I was looking for somewhere for breakfast in the north of the city and found Bang Bang via social media. It is a great spot with a real community feel, loads of local produce and artwork on the walls. We had a breakfast bap (which was good value and absolutely delicious) and a coffee each. There were loads more options available. It’s a small space but we had no problem getting somewhere to sit. I would visit again in a heartbeat

19/11/2025: Incredibly warm and welcome service and atmosphere. The cafe was busy with locals which is always a good sign. I had the vegan mac and cheese which was the best I've ever had.

17/02/2026: We only stayed for one night, but if I'd have known how great this place is - we'd have planned to stay for a few nights. We felt so welcome from the moment we arrived (thanks Froda!), the location is outstanding, and the hospitality was perfect. The dinner and breakfast were both fantastic, and the atmosphere in the bar was the best. I'm running out of adjectives to describe how good this place is, I'll have some more ready for when we're back next time. Cheers!

02/02/2026: We had a family wedding in the Abbeyglen recently and it was simply excellent. The setting is amazing, a castle in the west of Ireland. The rooms are beautiful and very very comfortable, 4 poster beds, twin sinks luxurious bath. The host and owner was a tremendous entertainer who made the weekend even better (playing music singing chatting!). We stayed on after the wedding and got the full guest experience. I cant recommend the Abbeyglen highly enough.

15/03/2026: I can give my opinion on the pub and the food. We were very lucky because we went on Mother's Day without a reservation and a table just happened to become available. We enjoyed our meal, although it took a long time to be served dessert. My turkey "ham" was tasty, but a bit dry. The rest of our party ordered lasagna or beef stew and were very satisfied. The house special dessert that day was cheesecake and it was spectacular! The atmosphere was lively, with families, people watching football, etc.

14/03/2026: Service was good but the food was not nice, very little portion and for a crazy price. 15 euros for a bit of tomato soup and a toasted sandwich that was not even nice and very small. No fries or anything else. A rip off.

04/03/2026: We called in for a couple of drinks before dinner. We loved the trad music. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was deadly. I'd love to have a place like this near home. It was a small but cosyy pub.
