16/11/2024: Excellent as Always. Tonight we did a takeaway from Mai Fitzs restaurant. We eat in as often as we do a takeaway from them. Food Excellent 👌. Beautiful Steak Sandwich!!. So tender and delicious 😋 the 🍟 fries were originally gold and crispy however I wish they would use strong paper brown bags. As the food is wonderful and hot going into the packaging it makes the outer plastic bag sweat causing the food to be soggy as a result unfortunately. In short . Food 5 star but please rethink the plastic bag for transportation. Otherwise Everything 5 star . Always worth it!!!!!5*****

01/11/2024: One of the best restaurants with great food and wine in Cork. The restaurant offers boutique style fine dining experience. You have the option to do their tasting menu. The food, specialty the oyster, the lamb are memorable. The oyster is fresh, with the shaved ice, it adds an additional layer to it. The lamb is tender like a fish, yet with the crunchy crispy skin, with a bit for chard. The service is excellent, the staff are caring and friendly. Definitely need to make reservation ahead of time.

10/11/2024: Staff are very welcoming, friendly, helpful, cheerful! The man who checked us in on Nov 9th was awesome! Our servers at the hotel bar Chris and Xhersi were exceptional! Made us laugh the whole time! We love them! The room was very clean and cute!

03/11/2024: I cannot 5 star this hotel enough. From the charm, to the hospitality, to the overall helpfulness of the staff here, everyone and everything was 🤩. Thank you Kris for helping my mom & I make such lovely & lasting memories of Ireland.

12/11/2024: Special place for a special occasion.. Really great place here , top class in every way , great food , great service and fantastic location ( ask for a table in the courtyard) .. a little bit more expensive than most but well worth it .. Cheers 🥂

03/11/2024: Went here to celebrate engagement with our extended family. Food was really nice but the service was very poor. Attitude of the waitress was very bad and felt we were inconveniencing her throughout the whole evening. Had to go to the main bar to ask for drinks because no one was coming to our table. Starters came out for half of our party and by the time we had finished it, the remaining starters came . Ordered sticky toffee pudding and mine was cold while others were warm. Ordered soup and garlic bread for a child and only the garlic bread came.

12/11/2024: Had another amazing meal in Room8. Never fails to impress us!! Amazing food & amazing staff!!! Great menu choice (and Im Gluten intolerant)! Party of 4 .. and nothing but praise from all of us!! We will be back again... soon!

09/11/2024: 8 of us had dinner last night... From superb starters especially The Prawns to amazing Mains and dessert this is a top class restaurant... Everyone if us loved our meals... Attention to detail on the plates of food. The staff are so friendly and welcoming.... As well as evening meals I have had many lunches in Room 8 and always top quality food... Best restaurant in Navan...

09/11/2024: Excellent service and breakfast. Came here for breakfast with my wife and 7 year old son we had two Irish breakfast and a chocolate with strawberries crepe all lovely with freshly squeezed orange juice. The staff were great thanks again

27/10/2024: Beautiful food yesterday at a lovely atmospheric pub in Kill. A place you can still hear and chat comfortably without roaring at each other. My monkfish curry special was excellent and the braised beef was lovely and tender (had a snippet of hers). Most mains around €22. Good cappuccino too. Highly recommend this place, not our first time here and always good quality.

30/09/2024: I have wanted to make this a bucket list destination for many years. We had the email reservation acknowledgment and showed it to the hostess. She sat us at the bar and gave us menus. I said no thanks. They then arranged a table (they weren't busy, open tables around us). we got the cold shoulder during service, but I didn't care. I finally got to say I ate there.

27/10/2024: Dear Cove Bar Team, I am writing to express my disappointment with our recent experience at your establishment. We had high expectations for our visit, but unfortunately, the service and overall experience fell short from beginning to end. Initially, when we tried to make a booking by phone, we couldn’t reach anyone despite several attempts. Understanding it may be a busy spot, we decided to go in person. However, to our surprise, the bar and restaurant were quiet, yet the staff member handling bookings was nowhere to be found. When we finally located them, they were sitting at the bar with a customer deep in conversation. Our booking was taken, but it certainly didn’t inspire confidence. On the day of our reservation, we noticed other patrons were also dissatisfied. The couple next to us left after waiting over an hour for their food, and a young family nearby also voiced complaints after a similarly long wait. When we ordered drinks, one glass arrived with lipstick on the rim—an oversight that certainly affected our experience. After waiting 30 minutes to place our food order (due to the kitchen being temporarily closed), we weren’t checked on or offered additional drinks. Once our food did arrive, there was no cutlery provided, and at the end of our meal, we weren’t asked if we would like dessert. On a positive note, the food itself was nice however the entire experience was disorganised, and I felt it necessary to bring this to your attention. I hope these concerns can be addressed to improve the experience for future guests. Sincerely, Aaron

01/11/2024: Fabulous place, great atmosphere. Had the steak which was cooked to perfection, bottle of Argentinian Malbec , followed by the orange cake. Great service too.
