We took the dart from Dublin to Dalkey and went to Finnegans on a friend’s recommendation. The interior was absolutely beautiful, the pints great and the cottage pie was absolutely delicious. And the staff was very attentive and friendly. And thanks so much for the Beamish pint glass to take home back to Canada.

I absolutely love this pub! ❤️ My husband and I have been here many times. Great food, excellent beer and wine, and an amazing atmosphere. The service is always efficient, friendly and welcoming. Such a lovely place with a fantastic vibe!

Finnegans is a fabulous friendly family run pub with wonderful service!! I'm a regular visitor there with my friends! Their outside seating area is the place to be on a sunny day in Dalkey, highly recommend it!!

This iconic establishment consistently delivers quality food and drink.What makes it special are the wonderful staff.Marian,Avril,Jess ,Damian and owner Alan are simply the best at delivering top notch service with personality to boot.It is a joyful place to unwind with a beautiful glass of rioja in hand.

22/09/2026: One of my Dublin favourites which has plenty to look at and wonderful Guinness. Super service from bat staff and waitresses and waiters that care. Upper Baggot Street from memory south of the river. Am looking forward to going back! ☘️
16/09/2026: I had a delicious cottage pie and My friend had the fish and chips. We were both delighted with our choices. I ordered a cup of coffee which tasted a bit like a French press, yummy delicious dark flavored coffee. I was a happy camper. I didn't have any of the Guinness that my friend ordered, but it looked like it was poured perfectly. She already wants to go back and I highly recommend!

26/09/2026: Naoise and Suesey St. - a match made in a non-snob’s heaven. A warm but discreet welcome. A menu that’s not at all fussy but elegant and superbly curated. The most flavoursome food, served with knowledge and savoir faire. Of many places to choose while in Dublin for a weekend, this will become a repeat visit because of the combination of the above mentioned elements.
