Always a fave of mine when I'm back in Dalkey. We had a quick simple lunch here last Thursday and it was just perfect. Service was noteworthy also.

Excelente pub, menú con diferentes platos clásicos y específicos de Finnegan's. La sopa del dia era de lentejas y bacon, pollo rebozado con queso derretido encima ( mozzarella y parmesano) y el pastel de carne. Ternera con guisantes con queso gratinado por encima. 23 cm de plato, un buen plato único. Guinness, la 00, Hope house lager, red ale, Sidra Bulmer's y alguna más que se me escapa. Todo de 10. Ojo con que hora llegáis, a las 13:30 un viernes estaban las mesas todas ocupadas, nos hemos podido sentar en la barra.

It was very busy, the day before New Year's Eve. The staff looked very frazzled but it's a lovely bar. We were only in for a drink, but the food looked great. Will definitely come back

04/04/2024: What a treat to discover this place! Service was fantastic. It is worth the price as the food is absolutely divine and big portion sizes! Do yourself a favour and order the lamb shank 10/10
03/04/2024: Outstanding. We went on the weekend and had the fixed price menu (I think that is all they offer for dinner). But there was not a thing on the menu that we would not have wanted. We had the Fois Grois, and the Cajun Seafood Chowder. Both were excellent and more than enough for a meal! We followed this with the Fillet of Beef (a beautiful peice of meat, cooked perfectly) and the Duck. I have never had such a large and tasty peice of duck! By the time we polished that off - we couldn't even squeeze in coffee! Make sure you book well ahead.

31/03/2024: Great brunch spot, we went on Easter sunday 10 mins after opening time so had to be put on a waitlist.. we had to wait 15-20 mins but we just went somewhere near to grab a coffee it is definitely busy so come early. The food is good but i wouldn’t wait any longer than 20 mins to try the food, glad the portions were big and staff were very attentive, but nothing extraordinary
30/03/2024: Amazing for gluten free. Queued outside for less than 5 mins on Good Friday. Whole gluten free menu, really quick, lovely staff. We had a great time !
