Mills Inn in Ballyvourney

On our way to West Cork, we decided to give Mills Inn a try, a place we’d often passed by, admittedly skeptical due to its touristy appearance. What a revelation it was! The mussels I had were among the best I’ve ever tasted - fresh, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The fish and chips did not disappoint either, serving up a delightful crunch with every bite, paired with tender, flaky fish inside. Mills Inn turned out to be a hidden gem that defied our expectations, making it a must-visit for anyone traveling through or to West Cork in search of delicious fare. Pleasantly surprised and thoroughly impressed!

Lovely feel to this place, warm and cozy. The food is lush. The lasagne was too good followed by the apple pie with a trio of 'creams'. One of the best we've visited on the island.

I took my family for Sunday lunch at Mills Inn. Straightforward traditional Irish cooking and faultless service made this a pleasure.
