We just sat outside at the keg. Tables people watching. It was a lot of fun. Keep an eye on your purses, though. Because a lot of the drug addicts tend to venture past this place.

Great pint of porter! Service was sound, a good aul proper pub. No Telly's or shite background music. Just pints and chats with randomers. I forgot to take photos because I forgot about my phone.

Excellent pub, make sure you check out the ceiling of the back room. And it is still in my opinion the best pub for a pint of Guinness in Dublin.

Delahunt

01/10/2026: I had a lovely experience at Delahunt. I stumbled up it looking for a place to eat dinner. The staff was kind enough to accommodate me on a busy weeknight despite not having a reservation. Everyone was incredibly nice, and the food and cocktails were excellent. I was also delighted to learn that the name of the restaurant comes from Chapter 10 of James Joyce's Ulysses, which warmed my English major heart. I'd highly recommend!
22/09/2026: Really delicious meal, great wine, and the staff were so friendly and gave helpful suggestions and information about the dishes.
