05/10/2025: Much better than Ashford caslte. Bang for buck skip the ashford caslte and just hit this one. Great room, bed, entertainment just felt homely. We will for sure make a point to stay here again hands down. Wish we would have stayed here for 2 nights over the ashford. We did room service after being on adventures from dingle to dromoland so we cant say much about there dinners. But the service and staff were better than ashford, I hate hatting ashford but staying at three castles in ierland on our trip ashford just didnt hold up to its price tag. Go here stay here get the same service if not better with the same activity avaliable while saving some money weather your poor or rich. Hope this helps.

21/09/2025: It was so delicious with surprising flavors. We took some fish and ships, the batter was crispy, there was a little spicy and sweet salad of mangoes that was delicious and the shrimps were so tasty. We also took the fish of the day, and the fish was very good and well seasoned. The desserts were delicious too. The waiter was very nice and funny, his pronunciation of the fresh word Flétan was very funny, we had a good laugh. (It was perfect don't worry, it was cute.) We'll surely come back !

18/10/2025: We stayed at The Schoolhouse Hotel in Dublin for our last night in Ireland, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Upon check-in, we were warmly greeted by Lorena, who was so welcoming and helpful. We had arrived early, and to our delight, our room was already ready — such a lovely surprise! The hotel had a homey, comfortable feel, with a nicely appointed room and a very comfortable bed, making it the ideal place to unwind before our early flight the next morning. We also dined at the Schoolhouse Bistro, which was wonderfully convenient and truly exceptional. The space was dark, cozy, and full of charm, and the food was outstanding — both the dry-aged steak and chicken fillet “en croute” were absolutely delicious. The cocktails were top notch, and the service was second to none. A special thank you to Iliana, Germano, Erick, and Lucag for making the evening so memorable with their warmth and professionalism. The entire experience was a perfect finale to our trip — highly recommend both the hotel and restaurant! 🇮🇪✨

17/10/2025: We had a lovely dinner tonight. The drinks and food were delicious, from the specialty cocktails to the fish and chips and butcher block special. We loved the house-made brown bread, too! Everyone was warm and welcoming, especially our server, Iliana, and Erick, Germano, and Lucas. The bartenders and front desk staff were helpful and gracious. Thank you!!

25/09/2025: This is an absolute gem in the heart of Kenmare. The food is fabulous and the menu tastefully designed. The staff are incredibly kind, hardworking and friendly. We had the special steak and Guinness pie, crab and lobster croquettes and the mushroom risotto, followed by the chocolate mousse and all washed down with a lovely Bordeaux. Our baby was welcome who thankfully sat quietly to sleep, no doubt aided by the warm and candlelit ambience and soft Irish rock music. If we’re ever back in the area it would be a no brainer to come back. Thank you Mulcahy’s!

06/10/2025: Lovely traditional pub, but it's time to say goodbye to the cigarette tar and the table in the corner has got to go. Just an edit - I can't reply to your comment there. The table has an active infestation of borer beetles. The powdery substance collecting in the grooves in the table is their excrement. These beetles will begin to infest the rest of the pub over time.

10/09/2025: First Irish breakfast in Ireland! I got the godfather and it was perfectly portioned, comes with tea, and I just love how thick the hash browns are here. This restaurant is bustling with locals and very busy. There’s indoor and outdoor seating, but outdoor is much more limited.

04/10/2025: Visited here with my family on a trip to Donegal . Everything was amazing the food was some of the best quality I have had in a long time . The service was also brilliant honestly one of the best meals I’ve had out in a while I couldn’t recommend it enough !

18/09/2025: Had read some really positive reviews so when we visited the area recently we booked in. It didn't disappoint. Food and service both really good, so good in fact that we visited a second time a couple of days later. Definitely recommend a visit here.
