07/07/2024: Stopped here after a visit to the alpacas, for lunch and what a lovely bar. We came at lunchtime and already so busy. Beautiful soup and bread. Kids loved theirs too and loved their hot chocolate. Staff were exceptionally friendly and the place is extremely warm, welcoming and most importantly very clean. Wish we had more time to spend there but we will
Make more time soon and return to enjoy a dinner or an evening for some music. Highly recommend

11/07/2024: Lovely little pub. Food is amazing. Something you'd expect on a fancy restaurant.
There was a GAA match on when we were there so was very busy and great craic. Everyone was super friendly to the blow ins looking to get fed.
09/07/2024: Had the roast beef on Sunday and have to say it was beautiful one of the best I have had. Nice selection of kids meals and desserts we will definitely be back

19/07/2024: The menu states Atlantic salmon, however when it was served i knew from the pale colour and softness that it was farm salmon. This is misleading information as the customer assume it is wild when they see Atlantic salmon on the menu

09/07/2024: We drank a few pints, listened to music in the evening, and watched football at the end of the day with the Euro! Good collection of whiskeys for enthusiasts. For us, it's the best pub in Clifden in its own right.
02/07/2024: I was staying in Clifden on a golf trip and visited here a couple of times. A really great pub with a fantastic atmosphere and friendly staff. I didn't rate the food as only had drinks!! Highly recommended

Our server, Luke (Luje ifykyk) was not only an excellent server, but also a reminder of the best reason to visit Ireland: Irish people, who are the warmest and funniest people you’ll ever have the privilege of chatting with.

01/07/2024: Had a vert tasty lunch of vegetables soup and spring rolls. My only gripe is that the rolls were covered in a very tangy sauce, which was a bit overwhelming.
30/06/2024: We had a family meal here it was absolutely delicious. The king prawn scampi was the best I've ever tasted 😍 we all had the brie for starters and we all loved it. Great food and the staff were friendly and efficient.

I had the crisy duck wrap, unfortunately the duck was mostly fat, which isn’t the most appealing in a wrap because you can’t avoid it, and the rest of the duck was nice but definitely not crispy. Coffees were tasty and lemon iced tea was very nice, will probably be back, but will be going for something different.

26/06/2024: Visited Pat Collins Bar 3 times over a 3 day stay in the area.
The bar was very busy and had a great atmosphere from the start.
Despite being obviously very busy the Staff were excellent in finding me a table and taking my order.
Food and drink arrived within a decent time frame and was delicious each time.
I would highly recommend this bar.
