25/03/2025: Just the irish spirit you are looking for. It cant get any more comfy and warmth. The staff and the place is lovely, but the music is what takes you to the next level. Tommy Keys and his guys are just amazing. We also had Gerry Hodgers, who turned out to be The Guy, amazing músic and vibes.

22/03/2025: Busy place , be patient and wait for a table, drinks reasonable considering the area, food was good , staff were friendly, but the thing that makes this pub is the atmosphere

26/01/2025: Really bad experience! We were repeat customers and had really high hopes.We had booked for a table of 8 almost 2 weeks in advance, we arrived at our allocated time and went up to the host stand to let them know that we were here, we were immediately met with hostility, the manager Mark approached me and said “absolutely not no walk ins reservations only” I let him know we had a reservation and he said “oh yea,how?” I told him I made it online and went to find out booking confirmation, he didn’t even acknowledge what I said and just stormed off, when he came back a few mins later he screamed at my whole party in front of the restaurant “if yere even thinking about having a drink we better have ID”, we were eventually sat down however everyone was uncomfortable and wanted to leave- if we could have guaranteed that we would get a table of 8 in another restaurant we would have left but we couldn’t. The entire time we were being watched by other waitresses to report back to Mark what we were saying and doing. To make the experience worse dogs were left into the restaurant but they didn’t want us there. Olga our server was trying to compensate for her managers rude behavior and she provided wonderful service however this was over shadowed by the feeling of being unwelcome Will not be returning again

30/12/2024: We were in the danny mann for 14 of us and although they were very busy, the manager accommodated us on two separate tables. The food was out of this world and the service was top class. The staff were rushed off their feet as every seat was full. It was a great afternoon and we would highly recommend it.

19/03/2025: One star for not updating their opening hours. We came to Doolin especially to try the Ivy Cottage because we read it had good gluten free options. We were really disappointed and annoyed to find it was closed despite checking their website in advance to make sure it would be open (their website redirects you to their Google listing, which said it was open every day from 12.30 - 20.00). When we arrived, there was another couple who also thought it was going to be open. Please correct your Google listing.

17/03/2025: Forget about 5 star hotel restaurants. Eat here for exceptional taste experience. The staff will make you feel like home. This place will make you come back to Doolin.

11/03/2025: I don't understand the draw to this pub, the bartender barely spoke a word to anyone, drinks were expensive and it just was not welcoming at all. I've been all over Ireland and truly this was the least welcoming pub I've been in. If they have food, I didn't see any nor was I offered a menu for any, Just Taytos and Pringles hanging on the wall. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I wouldn't return.

10/02/2025: What a great find and the creamiest pint of Guinness I have had in a long time, bar staff are fantastic and this is a proper bar not to be missed

03/03/2025: Really lovely cafe. Was here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The staff were very friendly and service was very quick. The mini breakfast was the perfect serving size and very tasty

It’s not the most extraordinary dining experience, but it’s definitely a solid spot if you’re looking for a casual, comfortable place to eat.

08/03/2025: Very good, Irish atmosphere, pleasant waiters and good beer. Recommend shepherd’s pie. Big portion for a very reasonable price. A meal and a glass of beer cost 26 euros and I was full for a while day. Thank you.

07/03/2025: Traditional pub with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. The vegan mushroom risotto was absolutely delicious, with a great mixture of tasy mushrooms and finished with vegan cheese. Would definitely visit again

01/03/2025: The prices were extremely high for what was offered, which made it hard to justify the meal. However, the worst part was the service—specifically, the host. From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly rude and unwelcoming, making us feel like we were an inconvenience rather than valued guests. I wouldn’t recommend this place based on how we were treated.

03/03/2025: Absolutely exquisite Castle hotel. Superb staff with that went above and beyond to alter our needs, especially Devon from the front reception. The decor throughout the whole building is astounding and the grounds of the hotel breathtaking. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of booking. It has not faulted in anyway. Thank you for a delightful stay, we will definitely be returning.

25/02/2025: I celebrated my 40th birthday at Dromoland Castle with family and it was superb. Between the wonderful acres of manicured grounds, championship golf course, outstanding service, fantastic restaurant, and its deep sense of heritage, Dromoland deserves a 5 star rating. That was my second time staying at the castle and I will definitely be back soon, hopefully before my 50th. I am struggling to think of another 5* hotel that can offer so much, while maintaining an easy going, friendly and welcoming vibe. Paddy at the door is a big part of that. It’s like coming home, when he welcomes you at the door. Can’t wait to find another excuse to return. Keep up the good work!

03/03/2025: What a fabulous restaurant with delicious food and fantastic staff! 10 of us dined there on Friday 28th Feb! Such a lovely atmosphere and the food is amazing. Such a varied menu and portions were so generous. I had the chowder which was delicious and so tasty (you should see the size of the cup I opted for instead of the bowl of chowder ! It was huge) The pan friend chicken was delightful with huge portions of veg etc . All enjoyed the delicious food and praised it highly along with the lovely staff who went out of their way to add to such a lovely evening! A lovely atmosphere there. We will be back again! Well done to all who make this restaurant such a brilliant place to dine!! One of the best we have experienced!

07/03/2025: An amazing experience. Firstly, our sever Olga was an absolute gem - so kind, patient, and welcoming. I would return here simply for this reason. Our party was quite late and hence we didn’t get to fully enjoy our meal (fully our fault!) but the staff were nothing but accommodating. The food was delicious, simple ingredients yet cooked together perfectly. The restaurant’s ambiance left nothing to be desired, with a great playlist! I would return here in a heartbeat, and once again our heartfelt thank you to Olga :)

03/03/2025: Went to this place for dinner during my stay in Dublin. The place really got a decent vibe and ambience. I have ordered their Parmesan ravioli from starter and halibut fish from main. The food was served at good temperature. The taste was decent too.
