Loved the pub, good atmosphere. If its full, try the beer garden in the back of the pub - though you have to go order yourself.

Another great pub experience while we were in Dublin. The traditional Guinness beef stew is (sorry for the cliche) to-kill-for! Great locals’ pub with music 7/7.

29/06/2026: Came for the Sunday roast as we're always excited to find a good one and had read great reviews. Unfortunately despite multiple nice touches and considerations like the gorgeous interior and the veggie roast coming with veg gravy for example, it was really disappointing. The roast potatoes were leathery, hard to cut and chew. The cauliflower cheese side was watery and not very well seasoned. The meat was soft and tasty but overall quite expensive for the portion size. Some of the digestifs also came as shots rather than in a glass with ice which I wasn't expecting. Wait staff are very friendly and attentive, but we did feel rushed. A heads up on pricing: a service charge is included in the bill, and for regular menus you have to order a certain amount per person, so it may not be suited to a group or special occasion as we'd hoped if everyone has to lock in and agree ahead of time.
