Absolutely wonderful experience! I first came here at Christmas and had a salmon risotto that I absolutely loved, so I was very happy to come back. This time I had the chicken shawarma, and it was absolutely delicious! A special mention to Valerio and Helena, who were both incredibly attentive, friendly and welcoming. Valerio even spoke a few words of Portuguese with me, which was such a lovely touch. Excellent food and wonderful service. I’ll definitely be coming back! ❤️

56 Central was the best breakfast in Ireland! Everyone was really friendly and the food and iced coffee were delicious

The table was very sticky. Staff were nice but rushing us along and out. The food was nice but overall I wouldn't come again.

We had a lovely lunch here on a sunny midweek day. There are stairs leading up to the restaurant from the street and we waited about 10mins for a table but there was a long row of benches that we steadily moved along until a table was free for us. The 3 of us were seated in a lovely window table with views of Shop Street. I had the Provençal vegetable open sandwich on gluten free toast. It was absolutely delicious with roasted courgette and peppers, with pickled beetroot and whipped goats cheese with a really good garlicky tomato sauce. My sister had a fabulous chicken, avocado and feta salad and my Mam had crispy chicken with fries. All excellent! The staff were pleasant and helpful and we never felt rushed.
