Monroe's in Galway

Great vibe, great atmosphere, gets a bit crowded but most places do, very nice people.

My friend and I stopped at Monroe's for lunch. We were blessed with the appearance of Remi, a friendly giant, who patrols the pub & check on guests (and their plates sometimes haha). The pub itself has a good atmosphere and very interesting signed posters on the ceiling! It was busy, but not chaotic busy. The staff was super friendly. We both ordered beef burgers, which were really really tasty, and of course, a pint of Guinness. We have also noticed the place hosts many gigs and other events, which is awesome!

Great place, with a cosy atmosphere and wonderful love music. Food was outstanding, I liked smoked salmon salad with capers. The service girls and boys are extremely nice!!!

One of the best bars in the west of Ireland. Love the layout of the bar. Food is always good, and the menu suits every palate. Great selection of beer on draft. Also, a great place to come for music. Lots of room, so it never gets too crowded.

The halloumi salad was delicious for lunch. Great conversation with the bartender Andy.

Fantastic place to grab a beer and enjoy live music. I had a few Guinness with some new friends and the band was great. Later in the night once the band is finished, the atmosphere changes into more of a club vibe. But a really fun club vibe and always a party in the women’s bathroom. My top favorite bar in all of Galway.
