We had a chicken burger and the homemade curry. The chicken burger was good, the chicken in the curry was chewy. The atmosphere was very good!

The pub itself is very welcoming and for all locals. Ordered the Ribeye steak sandwich rare but it was cooked to shoe leather. Pints of Guiness were stellar.

We had a fantastic evening and meal here last weekend. There was 10 of us we got pizzas and drinks. Staff were attentive. Always a good buzz when theres a match on in Deacy park. Thanks to Fergus for helping me organise my booking ❤️

Looks like a traditional Irish pub but food and service was just Ok. I was expecting a warm Irish greeting and some excitement about a Foreign visitor just happening to drop in. No, just minimum politeness and no banter. It wasn't even crowded. Hoping for better later experiences later in the trip! Margherita Pizza was wood fired but sauce was off. Banges and mash was good and plenty of food. It's their regular special not on the menu. Guinness was perfect.

03/09/2026: This is my favorite place I've had in Ireland. The staff are incredibly attentive and friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious and the portions were generous. It's pet-friendly, and they have a sustainability aspect to their service that I thought was really cool.

08/09/2026: Service was a bit hard to come by. Food was very good. Fish and chips. Big bowl of mussels. We sat inside but lots of outside seating if weather is cooperating.
03/09/2026: The food was really good! We had Guinness Beef Stew with self made bread and it was so perfect. We also had Irish coffee and it was great aswell. They actually had some space at 8 PM so it was very nice, the bathroom was great aswell and very clean, the atmosphere was very inviting and comfortable and the servers very attentative. When our glasses went empty she asked if we wanted some more drinks for example... All in all 15 out of 5 stars, wish I could actually give 100 Edit: The brownie and apple crumble were very nice too!
