Very tasty food, good size portions in reasonable price. Nice selection of menu and specials of the day. Helpful and friendly staff. We've been here couple times. Over the weekend is busy, so recommend reservation (but it's not necessary). Possible to park on the street parking.

Stayed at a weekend 3 nights. Food was delicious, staff so friendly and accommodation was lovely, warm, clean and pleasant. Recommend this highly, very central to lots of tourist attractions.

Fantastic ♥️ thank you for delicious food and great service. Especially Lian ( I am not sure about correct spelling, sorry). All staff were amazing and friendly. Definitely we will be back soon. Despite the full seating we were always served and had delicious food on our table.

Monks Well Inn

04/05/2026: Had such a lovely time at The Monk’s Well yesterday for day two of my friend’s wedding. Geraldine was lovely & a great host to us and ensured for a great evening. The atmosphere was brilliant—really relaxed and full of good vibes. The Barn area was the perfect spot to host us & give us the space to continue the celebrations! The evening food platters & freshly baked pizzas were absolutely delicious, and the staff & service were amazing! We wanted for nothing! Would definitely recommend as a venue for a great get-together! Will Definitely be back for future occasions. Many many thanks!

23/07/2025: Best place to go for food in swords pints are delish and the craic is ninety with the music upstairs love it brilliant experience
21/07/2025: Visited with my wife whilst staying locally for a few days. This pub was a fantastic find, great atmosphere and traditional Irish music being played by a live band. We only popped in for one drink and ended up staying for four. Would highly recommend a visit
