25/09/2026: We went to The Monks Well in Quin and the atmosphere was great as soon as we walked in! We were served by Geraldine and she was the best host to us while we were there. She recommended the half/half pizza to us and it was so yummy and delicious! We got the Guiness and The West Coast Cooler...both were so tasty! It is definitely THE place to be and is highly recommended!
22/09/2026: My family & I visited the Monks Well recently & had a really good experience.. Geraldine was so attentive & looked after us so well. We ate in the main bar.. Plenty of room out the back too if you wanted to dine ouside..

21/07/2025: We had a very nice lunch in The Cock Tavern recently, my first visit in many years as I've moved away from the Swords area now.
The place looks great, it's so cool and airy on what was a very hot day, comfortable seating. Loved the decor and atmosphere indide.
Good service, very friendly and fast. Decent menu, two of us had dekucioufish and chips, the third had a tasty soup. Everyone was very happy with the food.
Obviously, it has anything you'd ever want to drink as it's a pub, and the menus was nicely varied.
A good option if you're in the area. It's great to see the place is still going during after all these years.
