Freddy's Bistro in Limerick

Everything was absolutely fantastic. Even from before our arrival at the restaurant, the contact and communication from Linda and the team ensured a perfect dinner. Most of our had the steak (which is the best in limerick for sure) along with the monkfish and pork belly. Everyone was delighted with th food it was AMAZING. The service and staff are all so fab and accommodating, service was fun and always with a smile. I haven’t been here in a good few years and I must sa, Freddy’s has kept the same consistency now as it has ten years ago. I look forward to going back soon.

Here for a couple weeks for work and I reserve seating for my coworker and myself. I would have to say it’s one of the best spots that I have tried in Limerick. I had the pork tacos, ohhh so good. Steak was tender as can be. Lemon tart was good. I would highly recommend both the pork tacos and the steak.

We had reserved well in advance and got a nice table on the first floor. However, due to hearing issues (which I hadn't mentioned when booking), it wasn't a good table for me. When I asked if a quieter corner was possible, it was arranged, even though it was quite busy. Very nice! The dinner was incredibly good. We had prawn & chorizo ​​pill pill and shredded duck salad as starters. And both of us had the monkfish in prawn bisque. Everything was equally delicious. And for dessert, the cheese board and the sticky toffee pudding. The cheese board was fine according to my partner, and the toffee pudding was one of the best I have ever eaten. And I have had quite a few by now. And the Chablis was really delicious too. The service was friendly and very attentive. In short: we had a fantastic evening!

My mother, daughter and I wanted a special meal for a special occasion and Freddy's delivered. Must be booked and certainly worth it. Very atmospheric, staff discreet but there if needed and the food was delicious. Hoping to return soon.

Walked in on a busy night requesting just a dessert and cocktail. They accommodated and the espresso martini and sticky toffee pudding were amazing!

This restaurant really stands out in limerick, probably one of the best dining experiences in the city and beyond. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by very polite friendly and smiling staff. It’s quite difficult to choose from the menu because all the dishes sound amazing. Finally when we decided we had some delicious fresh bread and butter, the prawn and chorizo pil pil was outstanding couldn’t get enough of it , fish cakes delicious and the lamb was unbelievably soft and juicy. The staff were extremely attentive without be overbearing, no hovering. Superb service. I would dine here again in a heartbeat. This has to be where you dine if your only in limerick for one night and a must if your here any longer.
