This was my first ever holiday overseas and the staff at copper grove were so nice and welcoming stayed two nights and the room was fantastic and very good value too! Had a ln amazing meal in the restaurant as well and it was delicious and the staff were brilliant! Would visit again! Ireland rocks! 👍

Popped in Fri evening by myself Was shown to a table and then the delicious experience began I'm a coeliac and once the staff were aware of my condition they were able to list my opinions and limitations without having to ask. I had roast beef with delicious veg and gf gravy Plus additional seasonal greens. Samphire included, my first time having it , fabulous selection of veg beautifully cooked. Raspberry sorbet for a nice finish. Highest recommendations

Wow just wow best salad I have ever eaten a Devine combination of blue cheese , pear ,strawberries and blueberries . My wife loved her seafood spaghetti with local mussels and seafood medley

7 time returning to stay in Coppergrove . Everything is greater than expectation and they are very high. The service is exceptional the food top class the people staff everyone curious respectful 🙏 Thank you so much to you all . The rooms including aircon perfect clean comfortable .

Had a nice meal at the Copper Grove. Meal on evening 3 of my stay in Bandon. The food and service was pretty good, i had the veg soup and ceaser salad for my main. Do watch, the floor is slippy under foot throughout the restaurant area..

I stayed here on business on 19/05/2026 and was very pleasantly surprised. It's a little gem with an excellent atmosphere and a very tasty menu. For a Tuesday night the bar / restaurant was full and all the staff were very attentive. I opted for the beer battered fish and chips which was so light & tasty with a lovely home made tartare sauce and a pea puree and washed down with a few creamy pints of the black stuff (Guinness).. I'm told it's extremely busy all nights and weekends so I would advise booking to avoid disappointment. The room I had was clean and comfortable with tea & coffee making facilities with a few complimentary biscuits ! Have to say, I would definitely stay again as it was superb value, food, staff and accommodation all excellent. Give it a try 👍

Bayleaf bistro

15/08/2026: Nice food, but I found it a bit expensive and the portion size wasn’t exactly huge. 5euro for a pint of water is like something you’d see in Italy or France. Friendly staff.
11/08/2026: I visited early August with my husband, our toddler and my mother-in-law, and I’m so glad we decided to give it another try after not having been in years. I ordered the roast special of the day, which was lamb shank, and it was a huge portion! I struggled to finish it, but it was absolutely delicious. The gravy in particular was divine, and I always think you can tell a lot about a restaurant by its gravy 😂. This one definitely passed my test! The others had fish and chips, which I of course had to sample too, and they were very tasty. The service was quick and friendly, and I really liked the atmosphere. It’s a lovely, smaller restaurant, and the noise levels were low enough that we could comfortably enjoy a conversation while eating, which is always a bonus when dining with family. Overall, we were really happy with our meal and the experience. I’d absolutely recommend Bayleaf Bistro and would happily return.

05/02/2026: Great place. Great food. Great staff. Hopefully all that will continue after the sale.
13/12/2025: Amazing food 5 of us ate and everyone was more than happy. Steak was so tasty and cooked to perfection the mushroom was unbelievable onky thing I would improve on was the chips. Some way too crunchy but overall delicious. Staff are very friendly was a lovely lunch. Will be back.
