Amazing experience at Grattan! If you’re even near Waterford, this is the place to enjoy wonderfully home crafted meals while feeling like part of the community. The fish and chips were some of the best we’ve had, and our so son’s cheeseburger was huge! Thank you, Grattan Bar!

It was my first time in Ireland and out of everywhere I went this place was the best. The food was unreal so good I can’t wait to take another trip and go back the owners we’re so friendly kind and sweet. They made my wife feel like at home and I couldn’t have asked for a better host and food best spot in Waterford music was very good and the owner loves basketball and a Celtics fan wich was great because we are from Boston.

The atmosphere was incredible, the couple who served us were so attentive and kind, thank you for your hospitality ☺️ and the meal after a rainy day was so very comforting. It had been a long time since I'd been to a restaurant like this and I thank you because your restaurant, your smiles, and your food are wonderful and comforting ❤️

Absolutely amazing atmosphere here. The couple who owns the bar are incredibly kind and inviting. Amazing, home cooked food. The perfect comfort meal after a long travel day. Would recommend this stop to anyone visiting Waterford.

30/08/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A total success. 100% recommended. We stumbled upon Momo almost by chance, and it turned out to be one of those places you're so glad you discovered. We had initially planned to have dinner at Emiliano's, which is very close by, but the rather unfriendly way we were treated when we arrived without a reservation made us decide to look for another option. Five minutes later, we arrived at Momo, and the contrast couldn't have been greater: from the first moment, the service was fantastic, incredibly friendly, and made us feel very comfortable. And the food lived up to the service. Spectacular. A very varied international menu, with sophisticated cuisine, complex dishes, and very well executed. We loved everything we tried. In addition, the portions are really generous. So much so that we were left wanting to try the desserts, but after everything we had eaten, it was simply impossible. The restaurant is also beautiful and very pleasant: great atmosphere, good music, and a space you just want to linger in. Excellent food, generous portions, incredibly friendly staff, and a fantastic ambiance. It was a real find, and we would definitely return. 100% recommended.

05/09/2026: We went to celebrate a special occasion and the restaurant did not disappoint in any way! As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with sourdough and brown grain bread; they had a set menu that I highly recommend! Let's start with the starters: we chose the croquette with tomatoes (veg), I can't put it into words, creamy, flavorful, and comforting, wonderful 10/10. For the main course, we ordered the beef, which came at exactly the temperature we chose, and my husband was very happy with his choice. I asked for the vegetarian option, which wasn't on the menu; I asked the waiter, and that night we were served spinach tortellini with zucchini and shallots – an incredible mix of flavors! For dessert, I ordered a raspberry soufflé with pistachio ice cream, and my husband went for chocolate mousse. I think it's important to mention that the portions aren't absurdly large, but they are very filling! We ordered carrot sides, which are great for sharing. We couldn't finish everything, unfortunately, but it was very good. It was our first time there, and it was amazing. The wine list is very diverse and extremely affordable. I highly recommend going there!
