A great place. We had dinner on New Year's Eve and everything was delicious. Quality and good preparation, and the waiters very attentive.

My three friends and I had a fabulous experience in Allta. Colin very patiently talked us through the menu and recommended a gorgeous fer servadou from his wine list to pair with our food which we thoroughly enjoyed. Every dish was superb and the atmosphere was great. Also shout-out to Paige who was lovely! Highly recommend.

The high prices didn't translate to quality. We were quite let down by our meal. The food, while edible, didn't live up to our expectations. The wine list was shockingly inflated, with modest bottles marked up significantly. A truly unpleasant surprise was finding a hard thread in my dish, which the waitress attributed to a marinade brush. This incident, along with the overall saltiness of the food, completely derailed the dining experience. Despite the apologetic service (didn'treceive any compensation or offer to change my plate), the meal was ultimately a waste of time and money.

Expected alot more from here, food tasty, really small portions for the price, its really not worth the money sadly. Somethings missing from this place, it's not as fancy as they're trying to make out or charge for unfortunately. Disappointed

Really tough to review because the food was very good and the servers were lovely but the timing was just not right. My husband and I had a reservation for 20:45 and arrived earlier to have a drink at the bar. I checked ahead of time and the bar still had reservations available so I knew we’d have some availability. We arrived 45 mins early to have a cocktail. We were sat promptly in the bar area and a server took our drink orders. Unfortunately, that’s where the prompt service ended. We had drinks in the bar and finally got our 20:45 table by 9pm.
The sommelier was lovely and gave us a good recommendation for our wine. The food was all great but the timing was off. We had to wait a good amount of time for our main and the dessert took far too long. So long that the sommelier offered us a dessert wine on the house (which was much appreciated).
My partner and I were celebrating our anniversary and this was a rare night out for us since having our first child so it was disappointing that it wasn’t excellent considering the price point.
Unfortunately I think we’ll stick to one of our favourites for a next night out.

Must visit restaurant in the docklands. Food was exquisite, and their wine list was top-notch. Great ambience. The service was excellent. Would recommend.

One of the most anticipated restaurants but unfortunately left much to be desired.
Food:
The overall food was OK, some great ones like the cabbage, some good ones like the dumpling but the main course the dry aged steak was fairly disappointing.
Service:
The service was disappointing for the price. All of the staff were very nice, yet there seems to be either a shortage of staff on the day or a lack of attention to detail. Finished dishes were left on the table, water glasses being left empty for too long.
Atmosphere:
Excellent atmosphere with no complaints, great open view of the kitchen, kitchen staff auditable and correlated.
Desert:
Unfortunately no photos but 5/5 as it was very tasty and a good way to finish the dining experience

I could write a quick review simply saying the food was excellent, but this experience deserves so much more. At first glance, the menu might seem a little intimidating with its unfamiliar names, and you might find yourself unsure of what to order. However, after indulging in three snacks, one starter, two mains, and two desserts, I can confidently say every single dish was a masterpiece.
The flavors were extraordinary—combinations you’d never imagine working together in such harmony. It was pure bliss for the palate. The roast potato ice cream with caviar and hazelnut oil, for example, left my partner speechless for a full 15 minutes, punctuated only by a hushed, "Wow, wow, wow."
We opted for a sharing plate, as we love to share our meals, and I highly recommend doing the same to experience the variety on offer. The ambiance of the place was relaxed and inviting, with a cool, laid-back vibe. The staff were attentive and effortlessly friendly, adding to the charm of the evening.
So, don’t be intimidated by the fancy names on the menu—trust the chef. You won’t regret it. This was more than a meal; it was a journey of flavors I’ll remember for a long time.
