The most enjoyable food in Dublin, whether form seafood bar or main restaurant. Cocktails are banging. Great dishes at the seafood bar that you just don’t get anywhere else, caribeneros, ex dairy cow, scallops to die for. Great atmosphere, food and service. Really enjoy every meal I have here.

Don’t understand the criticism here. One of the best atmospheres in Dublin, amazing food, service was impeccable… My only sadness is this place before had an AMAZING bar area with DJs. Such vibes! Now the bar is dead and empty. Quite sad to have lost that…

Phenomenal food and drinks — absolutely worth every penny. We took the “tapas at the bar option” and ordered practically the whole menu - everything was excellent! I’m surprised they don’t have a star. Special shout out to the staff though. From the lady that welcomed us, to the CMO (chief mixology officer?), to the waiter that brought our food, they were all top notch professionals. Thank you all for a great evening!

Elevated dining experience with great service but VERY expensive. I want to highlight something for others that may seem obvious… tasting menu was €95 per person and tasting menu with wine pairing was €95 + €135 per person!! We misread this on the menu and opted for wine pairing as the cheapest bottle of wine was €65. Our bill for 2 came to €480 not including tip. Lovely restaurant but excessively expensive.

We went for the spring tasting menu, and it was absolutely perfect; we loved every bite! I can’t wait to return for the summer menu. I think we’ll become regulars every time the seasons change. 🤗 ​The atmosphere was spacious and relaxing, and the service was top-notch. The bartenders and staff explained every course perfectly, and always with a smile. We truly enjoyed the whole experience!

We ( my wife & I) had a wonderful evening at Allta last night ( April 4). The food was brilliant. The atmosphere was so welcoming & friendly, the nicest we have ever experienced in Dublin or anywhere else now that I think of it! The sommelier was kind, helpful, professional & also great fun. The staff were all terrific as was the main chef/ proprietor who clearly gets a great kick out of seeing people enjoy the food , very friendly & nice. An exceptional place. Can’t wait to return!

Absolutely incredible, the website does not do enough to hype this new experience with na Farraige at the bar. I was blown away by the quality and idea. I could not recommend it more for a date night location. Cocktails are outstanding and every dish is absolutely perfectly executed with so much development and prep work. Beautiful flavour combinations and novel ideas. Try everything on the menu.

We’ve been to Allta before in their old place in Trinity parking lot multiple times. But new place, the new seafood tapas chef and the menu is definitely something else! You are in for a treat!

The food was good, some dishes were amazing and some were mediocre. I have to add that we were 20 minutes late to our reservation, however the whole dinner took around 5 hours and the service was very underwhelming for the price of the restaurant. Got the feeling that serving us was a burden. There are better places in Dublin for sure!

One of the finest dining experiences I have ever had. I was by myself but the waiter made me feel like family and answered any and all questions I had. We became friends truly and still keep in communication to this day. The food was outstanding and everything came out with the excellent precision and placement. There is a reason this place is highly rated and highly recommended. This was the perfect place to dine before seeing Hamilton at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre. Thank you all for such an unforgettable experience.
