Around €11 for bagel and pot of tea..not great value considering that O'Briens only allows you to order 3 initial toppings and then charges extra for additional toppings. That being said, the bagel and tea were nice. Service was pretty quick and the cafe I was in was very bright and clean so all in all, it was fine.

Teníamos 12 personas hambrientas, y nos alegramos mucho de encontrar este lugar! Todos pudieron encontrar un delicioso sándwich, que venía con papas fritas. Había opciones sin gluten y la comida era genial. El precio era correcto y el servicio tan rápido!

Maples Bistro Restaurant

08/11/2025: I didn't stay there so i can't give a full report but the location is excellent and the service was great
11/09/2025: Great value for money! Lovely little hotel, the room was clean and cosy and felt safe. Located in a nice quiet neighbourhood, only a 10 minute walk away from Drumcondra rail and bus station, and about a 30 minute walk into the city centre. Can't comment on the food/restaurant part as we did not make use of that, but staff were very friendly and helpful. The only thing I'd say is, do bring some earplugs, otherwise your peace will very much be in the hands of whoever happens to be staying in the room(s) next to yours, as the walls are quite thin. Would definitely stay again nonetheless!

Bad Ass Cafe

20/12/2025: Live Irish band. Excellent atmosphere. Well worth a visit
19/12/2025: I've been there every time I've been to Dublin, and it's always an amazing atmosphere. The musicians are full of energy and get the crowd dancing... but be warned, it's often very crowded. The first time I went, I was the last one to get in, and the place was packed. Between the service at the bar and the noise, I didn't really chat much :) but generally, in Dublin, I've only met friendly and welcoming people, whether they were in front of or behind the bar. It's a real party!
