An craoibhan in Boyle

We had lunch twice at “An Craoibhin”, this pub is fantastic! Excellent cuisine, homemade, a real treat! Lovely staff! If you pass through Boyle, don't miss this magnificent place! Many thanks!

Great food great atmosphere " cosy..

A great welcome was followed by generous, 'Full Monty' portions of wholesome food & entertaining staff. A great pint of Guinness was savoured with regular bursts of wild Irish wit & belly laughs throughout our meal. This was a wonderful experience for our 88 year old Mother - she loved every aspect of this gastro pub & it's friendly staff. All praise to Gerry who looked after our whole family so well. Highly recommended - you certainly won't leave hungry ☘️💚☘️

As we were staying at a 'wee house' were having our meals there when returned from travelling around. However, for our last night in the town said would go to the restaurant. That morning we popped in to book a table. So at 6 o'clock into the restaurant. The menu was grand and also have a lovely 'specials board'. Chose the soup and the pasta with a spiced creamy sauce. The soup came with 2 very thick cut slices of wholemeal bread. Then came the main course. The plate was so well filled and so very very tasty. As a further description the tables had all been occupied and even people were seated at the bar for their meals. Really really pleased that had booked as would have had no chance of getting in if just walked in at the time.

Very crowded, but good and plentiful food

A great place for an excellent dinner... And a pint. I had pan fried chicken in a pepper sauce and the wife had pan fried Hake. Both were wonderful and perfectly cooked. Alan the owner made sure we always had enough chips. Perfect find.

Had the nicest bowl of soup here yesterday, the staff were lovely,the place was packed but a great atmosphere. A local lady recommended this place to us and we will be back.

Friendly .. Stopped on out journey home from donegal back to laois. Family of eight. Excellent service great atmosphere and good tasting food at a very reasonable price . Would highly recommend 👌
