Food fabulous - as it has been consistently for the past 10 years.
I always order the lamb shank which is so tender the meat falls off the bone.
Understand that this is more of an upmarket Indian restaurant, with slightly smaller portions at a higher price, and a quieter ambience.
We were offered a glass of prosecco for mother's day as we entered, which later appeared on our bill. Management apologised and immediately removed it - but this seemed cynical to me, which is the only reason I've deducted a star.

We asked the staff to recomen something as it was our first time there, he was in a rush and was rude he didn’t intend to suggest anything he only wanted to take the order
Food is very good high quality and high price
Portions very very small

10/10. Have been here 4 or 5 times and everytime all of the food was gorgeous. Faultless. Staff are amazing. I got the halibut last night and it was to die for.

Food was quite good, quantity a bit less. It was my wife's birthday so I asked them for a birthday surprise dessert. They brought it, but I later figured that they charged me only for it. And it was for €11!
Neither have I ever nor would I have ordered a dessert so expensive! I asked them for a surprise...didn't think I'll only have to pay for it!

This is one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever tried in Dublin. It’s our go-to for special occasions and the dining experience is truly surreal. The food is bursting with flavour and the staff are incredibly courteous and helpful.

Absolutely gorgeous food, very attentive and polite service. I have eaten at the sister restaurant in Dalkey but believe this is even better

The ambience wouldn’t be my first choice. It leans more lively than intimate — fairly loud, with several families dining and no background music to soften the noise. The décor is dominated by deep red tones, which gives it a heavier, less refined feel than I expected for a fine-dining setting.
Service had a few small blips. When we arrived, we were told our table wasn’t ready and were directed to the lounge, only for another waiter to come over moments later, confused, saying a table was actually available. The staff were friendly throughout, but our drinks order was also forgotten and needed a reminder.
That said, the food is where the restaurant truly shines. I started with the scallops, followed by king prawns with curry leaf and coconut, and finished with the chocolate crémeux. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour. The scallops, in particular, were cooked perfectly — tender, delicate, and easily the standout of the meal.
Overall, while the atmosphere and service could be smoother, the quality of the cooking alone makes it worth a visit.

Exceptional Dining Experience
A truly outstanding visit. The chef’s expertise is evident in every detail. The scallops and jumbo prawn starter with apricot salsa was sublime. The seafood platter was superb, and the house-made cheese & chili naan was a highlight.
What made the evening extra special was the incredibly thoughtful gesture for my friend’s birthday—having her name translated onto the dessert plate. A class act.
The entire team, from the manager to the staff, was gracious, professional, and genuinely attentive. This level of care and quality is remarkable. We will most certainly be returning again and again. Thank you for a perfect evening.
