(Traducido por Google) Gran comida fresca de origen local. Amo este lugar. Impresionante vista se suma a la experiencia. Gran servicio también. Saben lo que están haciendo y lo que funciona. Lindo lugar. (Original) Great fresh locally sourced food. Love this place. Stunning view adds to experience. Great service too. They know what they're doing and what works. Cool place.

A cosy and welcoming pub. (They accommodated 12 of us arriving unannounced, even though it was already quite full and approaching kitchen closing time). Great locally caught fish on the menu, including lobster. The monkfish scampi was a particular favourite. There are plenty of other menu options available too for those not into seafood and also a children’s menu. Amongst the wines, beers and Murphys there’s also a good range of gins. Desserts included fudge cake, cheesecake, profiteroles, ice creams and more, all well presented. Service was good - we felt well fed and looked after, so we came back again as a group of 20 for birthday celebrations. The service didn’t suffer at all from our numbers and they allowed us to bring a birthday cake for after the meal. One last visit as 4 before we left the area and we were welcomed just the same - they even adjusted seating to fit us in. Thank you to Deirdre and crew.

We went to The Anchor Inn three times in total during our stay for Cork Week 2024. The first trip was a last minute thing, literally almost 9 o’clock, there were 11 of us. Food and welcome was great. We then went back on Wednesday for a skippers partners Birthday bash, even more people and again great service and the food was excellent. Lastly tonight the joint skippers and Ffiona and I went for a last meal before we depart home. Again a last min thing but yet again great service and the grub was excellent. It always fails to surprise me what negative stuff some reviewers leave and whilst I see what they perhaps saw but think it’s totally unwarranted and just maybe their expectations were not what you should expect from a really good local Inn that serves really good food.

Cronin's

23/12/2024: A great spot with super food! The pub has a old country hotel feel and is well maintained. Cozy and welcoming, it's worth the visit! We had oysters for starters and I ate the fish and chips for main. All fresh, all delicious!
20/12/2024: Very nice Irish pub, excellent restaurant followed by very good service in a decor of old original postcards explaining the history of the region. Very large parking lot opposite the pub (on the public square). Pleasant atmosphere in the environment with the large Marina.

The Oar Bar

05/01/2025: A very warm welcome on a very cold Sunday in January , food was exceptional and full of flavour. My wife and I opted for the monkfish special with prawns and scallops which was delicious, kids had the kids fish and chips with homemade tartare sauce great value and our eldest Tadhg said it was the best yet. Highly recommend.
14/12/2024: Food was devine. We ordered from the Xmas menu. Rhubarb crumble was beautiful.
