14/05/2025: We really enjoyed our stay at Hodson Bay Hotel in Athlone, and I'd like to thank the hotel management and staff for making it such a nice and memorable experience. We stayed one night, and really enojoyed everything: the room was clean and very comfortable and had all we needed. The staff in all hotel facilities was very friendly and helpful, and assisted as with all our inquiries. Food at the restaurant was delicious as well. I had a special request for my partner's birthday and I am especially grateful to the hotel's staff for accommodating it and making it feel so special. Last but not least, the hotel has an amazing location by the lake, which allows you to choose among many activities outdoors if the weather allows. But even if you are less lucky with the weather or travelling in colder season, you will enjoy the hotel spa and many activities they organize (whiskey tasting, yoga and many more). We really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely come again.
