Contry side nice society and wonderful ovner of place

Stayed overnight in the camper, Gene was out with fresh eggs when we arrived. Music was good craic and the pints were lovely. Woke up to a tray of plums and a sourdough bread on the step of the camper. Highly recommended. We will be back.

We got there and it was closed on Mondays but couldn't believe it he opened up and made us very welcome showed us round and had a beer strawberry and cream picked from his garden then he made us Irish coffees and even played his banjo for us

Came here on a Friday night and absolutely loved it, the decoration lining the walls was brilliant everywhere you looked inside had something you would talk about id definitely return here and the Guinness was excellent too

Great spot for a random session

Best pub I have ever been in, the pub was so cosy friendly and Gene the manager was a proper character. He couldn't do enough for us. We had a sing song with the local and omg Gene can play and sing anything bless him he is amazing . Oh it's 10 euros to stay in your campervan on his carpark . The pub doesn't open until 8 to 8.30 but want a night, the locals are amazing and so friendly. I wish I could of stayed the whole holiday. Oh and we even got 2 of his fresh eggs as a treat for breakfast . What a guy and what a pub 👏 thank you Gene and locals for giving us an amazing night
