Angelina's in Dublin

Wouldn’t have guessed how nice this place was walking up to it - it’s a gorgeous spot overlooking the river - food was excellent - everyone in my group loved what they ordered & some tend to be hard to please! Will be back very soon!

Este lugar tiene buena comida, buen ambiente y buen servicio. Está situado junto al río, y tienen algunas mesas justo al lado del río, y es una vista preciosa. El ambiente interior del lugar es muy elegante. Mis mejores platos serían langostinos Tempura, bacalao a la parrilla y guarnición de frijoles. Las gambas y el bacalao eran muy frescos. El bacalao se hizo bien crujiente por un lado, y la salsa también era muy sabrosa. La combinación de queso azul con frijoles fue extraordinaria. Brownie de chocolate y crema de café era muy sabroso, y volvería para esto. Pedimos algunas cosas más. Ensalada de cangrejo irlandés estaba bien, nada malo o bueno. Las patatas fritas estaban un poco empapadas, y la pita con Buratta estaba muy seca y dura. Los cócteles eran buenos.

This place has good food, good ambiance, and good service. Its located beside the river, and they have some tables just beside the river, and its a lovely view. Indoor ambiance of place is very classy. I My top dishes would be Tempura Prawns, Grilled Crusted Cod, and side of French Beans. Prawns and Cod were both very fresh. Cod was made nice crispy on one side, and sauce was also very tasty. The blue cheese combination with french beans was extraordinary. Chocolate Brownie and Coffee Cream was very tasty, and I would go back for this. We ordered a few more things. Irish Crab Salad was okayish, nothing bad or good. Chips were bit soggy, and pita with Buratta was very dry and hard. Cocktails were good.

Angelina's is a bit out of the way for city centre dining but definitely worth the trip. The restaurant itself is well laid out with a nice atmosphere and music played at just the right level so it's there and audible but you can easily have a conversation. The staff and lovely and the food is kept relatively simple yet delicious. My party had a crab salad which was light and fresh, a burata dish which was rich in flavour, cod which was cooked perfectly and paired with a lovely sauce and duck which was cooked perfectly, with a flavoursome blend of spices and perfectly smooth mashed potato. We would highly recommend a trip here to sample the food for yourself.

We went in for just drinks - we were told we were only allowed stay for 1 hour. Had a few cocktails that were lovely and made well: all are €14

Would give 4.5/5. Chicken waffle dish is very nice - could have some other brunch variations to the menu. Outside area looking onto the canal is a lovely spot for some food and drinks.

Went for a friend's birthday Celebration. Food was good, great selection, freshly cooked explaining waiting times. Jennifer was great, good connection. One of the my friend's order was missed out, waited longer but rectified as soon as Jennifer were made aware. Gnocchi was the least desirable in town. Its my to go to in every italian restaurant i go, and would never come back bec of this. There's literally 10 bits of potatoes and carrots in every gnocchi there is. The saving grace? The sundae and the brownies. For the value of money, wont come back.

Nice atmospheric and hip restaurant with a nice terrace on the water in a good location. The staff was friendly, cheerful and service-oriented. We felt very welcome. The food was on the pricey side and the portions were small. The food was good but not excellent.

Food was excellent, they had crayons and food options for the kids too, which was nice. Right on the canal, very nice views. Service was very friendly.
