Annie Mays Bar and Lounge in Newcastle

Fabulous place to enjoy good food with friends. We had a staff lunch and we were all very impressed. Staff were very friendly and food was delicious. Beautiful open space, highly recommend!

First time visiting and had a wonderful experience food was great staff friendly, nice atmosphere and reasonable prices will definitely be going back

Had roast dinner which was fabulous My husband has shank of lamb which was a good size cooked perfectly Both our dinners were top notch Deserts didn't disappoint

Great food great value good atmosphere certainly worth a visit.

Just dropped in for one and sat outside, plenty of seating outside with and without shelter. Staff were lovely, we didn't eat but they serve food and it looks good.-2022 2025- was down visiting a friend who lives in the areas and was pressed for time and very hungry. We decided to ask the bar man if there was any possibility of having something fast to eat so we could make it for the bus in 30mins. They offered fish and chips or curry, we opted for the fish. It was absolutely delicious and we only waited 10mins and made it for our bus. Great hospitality and we went home on the long bus journey with full bellies and smiles. Really appreciate such prompt service.

Just wanted to thank you all in annie mays for a great night on Saturday 24th may , Rachel the manager was exceptional 👏 the friendly , service and training she must give her staff is very professional. The night was so busy , every table was jam packed . Rachel staff were all so calm , friendly , and top class service, they gave me and my table of 24 guests was fantastic. So very well done to the lovely lad Scott who took all the orders and never faltered once , thank you Scott. Really had a fantastic night , grateful to you all. Very kind regards Margaret mahon

Excellent service, they were very busy for a Sunday evening but we got lucky with a table. Scott was our server, he is customer service personified! A real asset to front of house. The food was really good, nachos delicious, children loved the wings. Mains of beef, salmon, fish and chicken were all spot on. Desserts too. Very well done to all. We will be back!

Un encantador bar gastronómico con un excelente servicio al cliente, personal bien informado y un menú de cena muy bueno. La comida estaba perfectamente cocinada. Muy recomendable.
