We love this pub. The food, admittedly not cheap, is constantly excellent. If you buy the set meal during the week it's great value. A special mention to Sarah, who appears never to have a day off as she's always working whenever we visit. Great location but when it's nice weather or at weekends etc the parking can be at a premium. On site car parking but not extensive. We walk from Windsor Great Park along the long walk if it's nice weather.

A lovely pub/restaurant. We had a 5.30 booking as we were heading home. There was 6 of us celebrating a big birthday. 2 women arrived and were speaking very loudly, so we felt we had to move tables after our main meal. The staff were very obliging, but it did slightly spoil the occasion.

Nice pub near Windsor Great Park.

Came in after 6 hours walk. Deer park closed (to return to windsor we needed to go through there), phone out of battery, dog hungry.. they were kind enough to plug my phone in to charge a bit, gave the dog generous handful of treats and after a couple pints, help arrived and took us home. Will be returning soon for a 'normal' visit. Lovely place and the staff is gifted with common sense. Salut!

Superb roast beef. It's a lovely rare sirloin, delicious with good Yorkshire puddings, wonderful roast carrots, parsnips, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, good gravy, and horseradish. The shoulders to lamb is also very nice and for desserts the chocolate mousse is absolutely fabulous. Service is excellent and all in all a truly wonderful place to go for Sunday lunch, right next to Windsor Great Park.

We ate there on September 1st. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The portions were generous and the food excellent, the cuisine was sophisticated, and the dishes were beautifully presented. The service was also top-notch. The setting is magnificent, in the countryside surrounded by very peaceful woods, right next to the deer park. The restaurant truly has its own unique character. I highly recommend it.

Absolute gem of a place and food is incredible. Roast chicken pot is a must try. Wonderful location right next to the park and perfect for a pre or post lunch walk.
