Applegreen Southbound is top-notch—open 24 hours with toilets, showers, EV‑charging, car wash, air/vacuum, kids’ play area, plus tasty dining options like Burger King, Braeburn coffee, Lavazza, and Bakewell treats. Also, shoutout to Michelle at Lavazza! She was super helpful and kind when I wasn’t sure what to order—gave great recommendations and made choosing food and drinks easy. Such a friendly girl with a kind smile. Made my evening coffee break awesome. Highly recommend dropping in if you’re passing through!

Great garage, literally has everything

Apple Green Southbound is convenient for a quick stop, but it can get extremely busy, especially during peak times. Long waits for food are common, so be prepared for a bit of a delay. Facilities are decent, but the crowds can take away from the experience.

Very clean and great that they have big play area for kids during stopovers

Monday, May 12; 2025 From the airport I got put on a bus going to Cork instead of Belfast. Didn’t realize until I saw signs to Waterford. ( thanks Aircoach). Convinced them to let me off at this service station. Just want to give a shout out to the staff here who were all wonderfully kind and sympathetic, especially the Manageress. She organised a taxi off her own phone to take me back to the airport. What a brilliant representative of the Company and person who was sacrificially kind to a stranger. Big thank you 🙏.
