Ardkeen Artisan Food & Coffee at Shaw’s Waterford in Waterford

Unusual ist in the door on Sunday morning. Superised to see crumbs on chairs tables and floor unsweepted for Saturday trading

Stopped for a quick and easy bite. Good for some lunch! Wanted a toaster and some soup but unfortunately they were all out of toasties so I got a vegan wrap from the fridge which they kindly heated and toasted for me which was lovely. They also only had one cup of soup left so myself and my two friends shared this. It was a fantastic pea soup that we all enjoyed. Coffees were good too! Definitely not the best ever but this place isn’t a specialist coffee shop. I would absolutely recommend if you wanted a soup and sandwich, salad, wrap or a nice treat like a scone with a cup of coffee/special tea/matcha

Very airy café located within Shaws department store, with views of the Quay. Tried their toasted chicken and stuffing sandwich. Utterly delicious! For a quick lunch that’s not too heavy, this was it exactly. Bread was sourdough, chicken was all breast, stuffing was mild and not in the slightest overpowering. Enjoyed a lovely pot of tea (Barry’s) and all was served promptly in very nice crockery. My wife recommended this café for the mocha coffee they serve. Apparently, they’re excellent! Next time…

We had lovely coffee here! Nice atmosphere, will be coming back here to work on my laptop.
