Beautiful, small and rustic pup.
Nicely located on the pier in Ahagista, overlooking the sea.
You can also sit outside.
Food, drink and service was great.
Prices at normal levels for Ireland.
Tip, try Murphys beer instead of always Guinness, it is a beer from the region.
We had a great meal today: perfectly crispy fish and chips and a hearty Sunday roast, washed down with a couple of glasses of the Ciù Ciù. It was our second visit in as many days. We will be back to this lovely and welcoming spot!
After several lovely visits to Arundels during the summer we were keen to return with friends and went for sunday lunch. Unfortunately what a difference a few weeks makes. Food was still good but the service was appalling...what happened??? We booked a table for 4 by email so i knew there was no mistake but thet had only saved a table for two and then made out it was our fault. No apology! The service after that deteriorated to zilch. No second drinks..no offers of desert..no nothing. Was appalling..We were all disappointed having come all the way over from Adrigole. Would also suggests the young man who seemed in charge needs to get over himself.
An amazing pub, not only is the food and service outstanding, but they could not be more accommodating and welcoming if they tried. If your in west cork, MAKE SURE you get here.
The Guinness is so good I had an out of body experience that transcended time & space.
