We dine in many eateries in and around Kilkenny and Ashbrook Arms one off the best by far food is always excellent ,generous portion sizes .Service is exceptional from all the staff .Highly recommend .
We recently attended a family wedding in Durrow and had the good fortune to book into the Ashbrook Arms for 2 nights. The accommodation in the Courtyard was beautiful, it accommodated all of us in individual units. We had a delicious meal on the evening before the wedding and the breakfasts were first class. Paul and Rosezita are lovely hosts, and they couldn’t do enough for us. We plan to go back again just for the food and the accommodation.
Stayed here in a beautiful family owned hotel in Durrow and had dinner with a large family group. The food was exceptional, the staff friendly and service excellent. The hotel was clean and well serviced . Breakfast was divine and freshly cooked to order. Owners and management were friendly and very attentive. All round a great experience and highly recommend for value and quality.
Was here for Sunday lunch, delicious food all served promptly and with a smile. Was a tad on the pricey side for the set menu, but it was definitely a clear cut above the usual carvery that gets handed out in pubs of a Sunday.
We booked all rooms in the Ashbrook for a wedding party we were having in Bob's. Lovely dealing with the owners and a very easy experience for everyone staying there.
Absolutely lovely place to stay. The most accommodating hosts in the quiet town of Durrow. Dinner was absolutely amazing too, as well as the breakfast. This place had all the vibes, clean and comfortable rooms, and incredibly friendly staff. Come stay if you get the chance. You won’t regret it!
14/10/2024: Received a wonderful warm welcome here when we stopped for lunch on our way home to Dublin from Rosscarbery. Zoe was allowed in so it gets full stars regardless. We had the chicken and ham roast carvery which was delicious. There was plenty on offer and we enjoyed our short stopover at this pleasent pub/hotel. Lots of patrons present and all of them looked to be enjoying their Saturday roast too.
18/09/2024: Stopped for a quick bit to eat, carvery was as good as any and reasonably priced.
