Food and Golf course top class. Great value for the open comps. Other golf clubs could learn a lot from the catering-

We had a beautiful lunch in Athlone golf club yesterday. 6 adults ,2 teenagers. The menu was varied and interesting. Staff friendly. The portions were generous. My salmon was delicious. Great atmosphere in the clubhouse. Gorgeous views as we dined. Lots of golfers out playing. Course looked immaculate.

Lovely layout, staff excellent. Unfortunately fairways were closer to rough than fairways. Disappointed with course maintenance, a little early in the season to be cutting fairward once a week. Again staff are excellent, food was excellent too
