I liked the atmosphere very much. The room is spacious, the tables are large enough to provide enough space for each guest. There is a nice view of Monkstown. As for the food, I wasn’t lucky with my seafood pasta- too spicy. It just wasn’t tasty- that’s all. When we ordered for delivery some years ago, we didn’t like the food either.

I had pasta with mushrooms on Tuesday and it was awful . Today I went to the festival with some friends and the pasta was good. We went in and I opted for the steak, it was tasty, but the portion was small.

Lovely Italian in Monkstown with nice views of the village from the terrace. Prices are reasonable. The food and wine is delicious. And the service is professional. Would definitely recommend.

The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered pizza and pasta. We sat on the terrace with a cool view. The staff was very professional and friendly. The prices were reasonable as well. I definitely recommend this place. We will be back.

Lovely atmosphere, attentive host and staff. We arrived out of the blue and they made space for us which very kind. I got the gargonzola gnocchi and caprese salad, and my partner got lasagne. It was incredibly tasty and will definitely come again.

Port House Pintxo

20/11/2024: It is a couple of years since we last ate here at Port House Pintxo. We were pleased to discover that they now accept reservations as this wasn’t always the case. It was a busy Thursday evening. We ordered 10 dishes for three of us and were very happy and satisfied with our selection. Our food was delicious and reasonably priced. Your chef and his team certainly know what they are doing. We chose a bottle of red from the interesting wine list which was a good price too. Service was friendly and efficient also. We have just one negative comment though: we were sitting in the front of the restaurant to the left of the entrance but the lighting was so dim we simply could not see what we were eating! Please take another look at this. However, all in all, we enjoyed our dinner and will visit again soon.
