Perfect, tasty, vegan food made with a lot of love

Absolutely top notch. We travelled to visit here based on the excellent reviews and were not disappointed. The taste of the foods is exceptional, we had the 'Garden Gate' (based on staff recommendation) which was based on a chickpea pancake and was absolutely phenomenal, followed by the banana pancakes which were amazing. A true delight and will definitely travel to visit here again - seriously good food.

Absolutely top class. Service is second to none. Food and Coffee are always top drawer are to die for. A top class whole food plant based cafe. We need MORE of these cafes and restaurants in the south east. Keep up the good work. (great work).

At Avo Cafe they make the best vegetarian burgers I have ever eaten 🤩 the explosion of flavors, fresh ingredients and the appearance of the dish make you even hungrier. On top of all this, great and friendly service! It makes me want to go back there. And for dessert there was delicious coffee and cake, you'll lick your fingers 🤤🤤🤤

Excellent. I am a full time meat eater and... i would visit Avo Cafe anytime and any day for their delicious "burgers" and shakshuka or anything from the menu. If you're up for anything sweet then this is the right place. All the best for Donia the owner for splendid service.

I rarely give my opinion, but I had to give it here. This address is simply wonderful! I find it rare, or complicated in Ireland, to find places with good, healthy food, original compositions, vegan, gluten-free.. Two women served us, they were very pleasant and smiling! I am a pastry chef and I am usually rather difficult with restaurants, but here I have nothing to say honestly the cakes were not dry, they were really good, the sauces which accompanied the dishes were light but very tasty, the pancakes were excellent, the proportions are generous, no, I really recommend this address!

One of the standout features of this cafe is its diverse and extensive menu. It caters to a wide range of dietary preferences, including vegetarian, vegan, and omnivorous diets. As a vegan myself, I greatly appreciated the inclusivity of their offerings. For my breakfast, I opted for the hummus and avocado on toast, which came accompanied by a generous and delicious side salad. The portion was so substantial that it kept me satisfied for most of the day. What truly impressed me was the cafe's flexibility in accommodating my vegan preferences. While the menu originally included an egg, the lady graciously replaced it with options like vegan feta or tofu. Though I declined these alternatives, their willingness to adapt to my needs was highly commendable. However, the highlight of my visit was the exceptional service provided by a lady whose name, unfortunately, I didn't catch. When settling my bill, she surprised me with a warm slice of freshly baked vegan banana bread as a gift. The taste was nothing short of heavenly, and her thoughtful gesture added a touch of warmth to an already wonderful experience. I must award a resounding 10/10 for the food itself; it was truly outstanding. But the service I received deserves an even higher rating - an 11/10, if you will. I'm genuinely grateful for the kind and accommodating staff who went above and beyond to ensure my visit was memorable. Rest assured, I will be singing the praises of this cafe to all my friends, and I'm eagerly looking forward to my next visit.

What a gem! having recently gone fully dairy free I am sick of restaurants not having options and then I found this gorgeous cafe - sadly we missed the full lunch menu as arrived late but Donya looked after us and to say it is fresh is an understatement it’s so fresh and delicious! I had to have a smoothie also and again all natural ingredients and a top class smoothie filled with avocado - kale - kiwi - lemon etc - honestly delighted I know about this place and I will be returning soon. I’m only getting to grips that I can no longer have dairy but from how I did feel thinking I was normal to now having given up dairy the difference is honestly mind blowing and I think more should test themselves regarding food as I didn’t think giving up dairy would give me so much more energy etc - thanks to all the staff for looking after us today - can’t wait to return. Everything was 10/10
