I was surprised. Flew from Gatwick and had to go through passport control to get into Ireland. Thought there were no checks UK to Ireland

Airport is nice not the best in the world but not the worst either.

Smooth check in, as well as security, and US preclearance customs

Clean but security needs A LOT of organization unfortunately

I'm giving this airport 5 stars for what I see coming. There were some very nice areas. As far as now we were stuffed in a gate for an overseas flight that accommodated a single prop plane. Ridiculous, but probably expansion headaches.

Very clean and functional, there are areas where you can sit down and rest, charge your phone, smoking area and clean toilets. Facilities for people on wheelchairs and friendly staff. All indications are clear and both in english and irish

Great airport, well managed, minimal stress like the city itself. Staff are helpful and get toy to where you need to be.

Dublin airport is still one of my favorites on the international front. Plenty of duty free options to shop. Typically free liquor samples - although don't go crazy if you have a long flight! Decent food options. Free and decent wi-fi. What's not to like. More importantly, having now once gotten stuck overseas due to customs being closed in the US, knowing you'll complete customs here on the front end is a huge plus. Factor that in to your travel plans (don't worry, TSA pre-check and Global Entry are in full swing). I loved being able to just 'walk out' after arriving back in the states from Dublin.

The staff are amazing. I had no data and a staff member allowed me to use his phone to call my mum since the wifi was down, and guided me to where I needed to go. Extremely helpful and kind people. Nice airport and much more organised than other airports I’ve been to.
