The airport has improved significantly. Security checks are much faster. Shops are plentiful, as are bistros, although they're quite expensive, especially for food. The number of restrooms is lacking compared to the number of passengers who always frequent the Irish airport.

Excellent experience travelling through Dublin Airport. There is only I thing I didn't like, that I couldn't find any charges! I wasn't there fir a long time so it wasn't too necessary. But if I would needed it, it would be very frustrating not having a charger

I really like this airport because when I'm there, it means I'm going home. Unfortunately, security checks are always very long. Customs officers don't seem to rush things; everything takes forever. The duty-free zone is nice, but you have to be careful where you buy your goods because the first stalls are more expensive than those further back (especially when it comes to drinks 😉).

Saw signs for a smoking area. Followed signs for smoking area. Never found smoking area:(. Worst experience of my life.

A very pleasant airport with a quick security check thanks to its modern facilities. The scanners eliminate the need for the usual tedious unpacking of toiletries, etc. The duty-free shops and restaurants offer a wide selection of goods. Prices are still reasonable, although alcoholic beverages and perfumes are comparatively more expensive than usual. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful.
