The airport may have some problems when it gets too busy but it is a lovely airport nonetheless.
The layout is nice and easy to navigate. Both terminals are filled with pubs and other stores.
The toilets are usually not very clean but that's mostly due to the people that go there and not so much the airport.

As we say: “What the doctor ordered?” Planes depart on schedule, there is parking, there are buses to the city, a gas station and McDonald's work for us.

I thought it would be a place with more modern architecture. Nonetheless, it has charm. I don't know why I had to wait almost 30 minutes to be able to pick up my bags and go through the police. It doesn't have a luggage storage service (that's what I was told). Excellent free wifi and very close to the T2 exit there are stops to take buses that arrive at the most important cities of the island.

Was here for a brief layover, very easy to navigate... A lot of stairs and walking though.

What's important there is that it has plenty of signs so even If it's your first time there you know where to go. It's clean, spacey and quite big.

Pros: Arriving as an American was a breeze throughout the whole process. No complaints there.
Cons: Departing from this airport, well that's a whole other story.
-Aer Lingus kiosks for checking in were so bad that I just went to the counters. This has nothing to do with the airport but rather the Airlines.
-Security process is TOO slow, open MORE lanes already for faster processing. The agents were fine though and glad I didn't have to take my shoes off.
-US border & customs was a breeze for US citizens but long for non-US citizens, sucks to be them.
-Directions and signs showing you were to go were somewhat confusing. They need to be more clear so I don't have to second guess or ask for help.
-The seats at gate 406 were uncomfortable and had no plug-in outlets for charging a phone.
For an international airport it's a meh experience. P.S. it was somewhat crowded for a weekday.

Very big airport, but plenty of staff to cope. Going through security, the woman we met was very blunt and like to order people about, but i guess thats just her job, it didn't take long to get in to the departure lounge. Some gates can take upto 8 minutes to walk to from the main lounge, but there are bars and shops down that end as well, wish id known that as the main area was very busy.
If you use the duty free shop for spirits or tobacco there are two different prices on goods, if you flying to the UK, it's the cheaper price you pay, not the higher price.
Flying to the EU is the higher price.

Seems all is back to normal since the staff shortages after COVID. Smooth and easy this time around.
