This is a neighbourhood gem, especially if you need a birthday cake. I’m not sure people are aware that this bakery can make the most beautiful (and custom) birthday cakes. I have made several last minute requests for Victoria sponge, cream, strawberry birthday cakes and every time, they are so helpful, nothing is a problem and they create delicious cakes! This time though, I had a very special request for a 2 year old birthday cake, much more extravagant. Once again, they were so helpful. Denise jumped on the phone with me to discuss, send me some pictures of options and just went above and beyond. Just LOOK at this gorgeous cake!!!! 10/10 would recommend. Thanks Denise and team, I’ll be ordering all my cakes from you in the future.

ODEON Coolock

31/08/2026: Small screens. Small cinemas. Small chairs. In all honesty my sitting room has a better cinema experience.
29/08/2026: I have given this cinema a 5 star because of the many years I have gone to see films their as its the local cinema. It is the worst cinema going for many reasons It's understaffed and run by kids, it changes its opening times like the weather. They use to have a lovely coffee dock they took it away replaced it with a small serving dock. The seating is cheap and dreadful it has never been given a proper overhaul like the other cinemas Odeon you need to do this place up ive been going here since 1991 when it was UCI cinema 10 Screen to me it hasn't changed all that much since then. The place can also be very cold. I went to see the Odyssey when it opened here, Odeon left the lights on in the cinema throughout the whole movie you could barely see the screen there was no one around to get the lights turned off, it ruined the whole movie. It made me laugh in away as it was typical of how badly its run. I've seen alot of disasters in this cinema in how its run. But ive also had some great times here to that's why I gave you a 5 star. But to be fair as a cinema you have shown no loyalty to your patrons and continue to provide a substandard cinema to coolock and surrounding areas when you should be doing the place up and giving everyone the cinema experience they deserve. Listen to this and sort this out Odeon

Red Bean Roastery The Samuel Hotel Dublin

06/05/2026: It's a typical chain like other large coffee shops with a star in their name, but great for breakfast or grabbing a salad to go. The coffee is excellent – we had bagels with salmon or an Irish breakfast – we loved it – we'll be back tomorrow ;-)
21/04/2026: Coffee is great Banana bread is amazing.
