Busy spot and some good food available

I recently had a carvery dinner at the Bridge House Hotel and honestly, it was one of the most enjoyable evenings I’ve had in a long time. I was served by Emilia, who was absolutely brilliant — so friendly, attentive and welcoming. The service was so good that I ended up staying after and playing cards with the staff! (Don’t worry, the place was quiet… haha!) The whole hotel had a wonderfully festive feel. The decorations were gorgeous, the Christmas vibes were strong, and the staff even dressed up for the occasion, which added so much fun to the atmosphere. Lovely seasonal music played in the background, making it feel warm and cosy from the moment I walked in. The food itself was delicious, cooked to perfection by the brilliant Corkey — you could taste the care that went into every part of the meal. The drinks flowed even better 😉 and kept the festive cheer going all night. To top it all off, the bar had a fantastic atmosphere — relaxed, friendly, and the perfect place to wind down after a great meal. Overall, an unforgettable experience — amazing service from Emilia, great food, festive fun, and brilliant vibes throughout. Highly recommend!

Held a family Function recently in the Millennium room. It was very well decorated and lit up..The staff were very professional and accommodating. It was a great party thanks to all in the Bridge house for your efforts 👌

Service and hotel was perfect. I requested an accessible room and there was no trouble. Just to note, there are steps to the hotel, but I was clearly informed the hotel's fitness suite entrance right next door has an elevator. There was no issue.

Recently stayed here for work for 1 night. Did not have time to use any of the services or eat in the restaurant unfortunately. The room was lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was incredible. The room was very warm, there was no thermostat in the room and the window would not stay open. I had to shove two towels under the window to keep it open to allow air in. This is the only fault. Everything was clean, water bottles and tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The usual wear and tear of a hotel room. The staff were super helpful and friendly! Location is very central, free parking for hotel guests as well.

Going to the gym since September, staff is friendly and special shoutout to Tristan, who made me a great training plan.

Great hotel. Beautiful setting. Heat was high.
