Ballinwillin House in Mitchelstown

Wow what a gem. This place was hands down the nicest accommodation on our trip and we stayed in higher end places. The owners were fantastic and engaging and the manager was very helpful. It’s nestled in the back of a neighborhood in Mitchelstown (walking distance to town)The property is an expansive oasis hosting red deer and other farm animals. From the time you enter the big wrought iron gates to the time you leave you are taken care of. They will sometimes host a wine tasting in their private cellar of some of their own wines produced in Hungary (outstanding) if you get the chance. You would need to arrange in advance. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, the bed and shower were the best… If I could rate it 10 stars I would We will be back ……
