Ballinwillin House in Mitchelstown

Best thing is the friendliest sleepy old dog who meets you in the car park - what a charmer! He gets 5 star for service! But someone bring this gentleman some mouthwash!

This is a lovely little town and Ballinwillin house is so inviting and comfortable. Easy to find and really wonderful hosts.

Owners Pat and Miriam were supremely kind and attentive hosts when my family and I stayed in their beautiful house on exquisitely maintained estate and gardens. I would particularly recommend staying here for those who are keen to immerse themselves in a more traditional Irish setting. Like other guests have commented I found the bed extremely comfortable and slept very well - and the hosts and their colleague Elaine went out of their way to welcome and take care of us. Cannot recommend Ballinwillin House enough for a sense of peace and nurturing hospitality.

Stayed here for two weeks, cant recommend enough. Deer on site and Very friendly dog (not often out). Rooms clean and spacious. showers are hot, very secure parking. wifi is a bit slow but expected for location.
