We went to The Brasserie for Lunch recently .On arrival we were warmly greeted , seated promptly and given menus . Our food and drinks orders were taken swiftly . The ambience was good and everything was spotlessly clean . The service was 5 Star . Donal the Supervisor and his crew went above and beyond providing excellent customer service to our table and the tables around us . The food we had was of excellent quality and arrived piping hot in a timely manner . Our favorite part of the meal was the Homemade Strawberry Meringue Roulade . It was out of this world followed by freshly brewed coffee . The bathrooms were immaculate with plentiful hot water , soap and hand drying facilities . In fact they were the cleanest and most well maintained bathrooms I have seen in a long time . Overall I could only rate the experience as 5 Star and if you are visiting Tralee , The Brasserie is well worth a visit .

Newbarn Farm

20/06/2025: The Bizz. Excellent value. All fresh fruit and veg.
06/04/2025: A lovely place with a great connection to nature and organic food, perfect for families and animal lovers. We had a delicious chowder with Guinness bread and a tasty wrap. The service was quick and efficient. We also took the opportunity to buy some organic products the next door, which was a nice bonus. Very enjoyable experience overall!

Hook Lighthouse Cafe

24/04/2025: Think it's called the lightkeepers breakfast. Huge breakfast, including 2 slices of toast and tea/coffee all for €11.95. Really tasty and filling. Not many places left where you would get a big decent Irish breakfast for that price. Lots of tables inside and outside with stunning views. They also do great coffee, cakes, scones and full lunch menu (hot and cold, sandwiches made to order etc.) plus kids meals. A must when visiting Hook Pennisula and the beautiful lighthouse.
18/02/2025: Love this cafe, visited the lighthouse and stopped in afterwards for a snack. The scones are HUGE and very fresh. My father in law had the chowder and loved it. Also good coffee!. The kids had cakes and crisps. This is my second time visiting and would definitely go back. The kids (8 & 4 yo) made some slate art with Rose just off the cafe while we were there. It only took about half an hour and they loved their slates. Highly recommend for kids if you want to entertain them while you are having your coffee.
