Banyi Japanese Dining in Dublin

High prices, nothing exceptional. Definitely better than Chinese restaurants in Italy, which give you frozen things. Here I think most of the food is made on the spot, but there is still little variety compared to a Chinatown in London which has a lot of choice on Chinese cuisine. Recommended only if you really want Chinese, but you will not be surprised, but disappointed. In Dublin, there are other things to try.

The food isn’t bad, but it used to be better. The portions are still generous, which is a plus, but in the last three times I ordered, the food arrived cold and the flavor was noticeably different from what it used to be. The wait time is usually reasonable, but the overall quality has been disappointing lately. I hope it goes back to the standard it had before.

We visited Banyi Japanese Dining in Temple Bar to celebrate my son’s 15th birthday, as he’s a huge sushi lover — and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The food was absolutely amazing, beautifully presented and so fresh. Every dish we tried was delicious, and the variety of sushi impressed even my son, who is quite particular. The service was equally outstanding — so friendly, attentive, and made us feel really special for the occasion. One of the highlights for us was their dedicated gluten-free menu, which made it so easy for a family member with dietary restrictions to enjoy a full meal without any worries. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend for anyone who loves Japanese food or is looking for a special night out in Dublin!

Banyi has always been exceptional. I sent an email the followed it with a confirmation phone call a few days ago outlining my request for 2 XXL platters (200 pieces of sushi) and they had it ready for collection for me as requested. They even gave me the required amount of chopsticks and all the soya sauce, wasabi and ginger I might need. This was enough to satisfy a small party of 14-15 people. Everyone was full, happy and asking for the name of the place! 10/10 would order for a party again, also sitting in is always a pleasure!

In this town, all the pubs offer the same dishes, so we opted for a different type of cuisine and we were not disappointed. It's very good and cheaper than in pubs. Very warm welcome too. I recommend.

The rice vowl with tempura and the rice vowl with chicken and vegetables are very delicious. The yakisoba are excellent and the sushi very good. Very good attention

Not for me. Food very unusual and atmosphere a bit hectic and not homely.
