Delicious food, even appreciated by my Italian friends

BOOK OR STOP at this place. After days of junk food (it's a good thing), a healthy and exceptional lunch! With a 3-year-old daughter, we needed Italian food: here we are. Exquisite tagliatelle, amazing gnocchi, and super carbonara. Truly, everything was incredibly exceptional! Excellent selection of wines and desserts. Exquisite, attentive, and professional staff. These are the REAL places that fly the Italian flag high. Thank you

The carbonara, bruschetta con calamari, and affogato here go crazy. I just came from Italy and was impressed by the quality of the pasta. The service was meh. Took them 15 mins to even greet our table and had to fight for the servers attention almost every time we needed something. Also felt uncomfy at the end when they brought up adding a tip. I’d come back for the food, but I think the service doesn’t align with the food quality and atmosphere.

Great for a nice dinner in the city! We had a large group of 10, but they were able to accommodate with a reservation. The staff was kind and attentive, though the main dishes took quite a long time to come out to the table. Everything was tasty, though. The downstairs dining room was beautiful and small enough to feel intimate. Would recommend especially for tourists looking for a nice meal with family and friends before exploring the city at night.

Came for the food but will be back for the people. Don’t get me wrong, the food is fantastic and hard to criticise BUT the people who work here make you feel like you are life long friends being welcomed back into a familiar space. The most hospitable restaurant I’ve ever experienced. Thank you Bar Italia for a memorable meal.
