Added this one to my list of go to Italian places (very few make it trust me)
I’m not Italian but through years and friends I’ve been exposed to the real Italian stuff, and this place really offers you those flavours.
Loved the focaccia, vegan pasta, big shot olives, martini and their special dessert 😍
So heart warming, filling and complete experience 👏
I’d love a server to be more engaging but alas food was top notch!

Probably the best Italian I've ever been to including the ones in Italy.
Very attentive staff, lovely vibe, food outstanding, they were great at advising wine pairings, had the most beautiful martini.

Bar Italia was recommended to us by our daughter who had visited previously so I was fairly confident of a good experience. And it was. We arrived slightly earlier than our reservation time but this wasn't a problem and we were shown straight to a table in an almost full restaurant. The serving staff were friendly and attentive. I chose the Pasta Carbonara and was warned about it being salty and peppery - and it was too, but in a very good way. My wife chose the Pizza Margherita made with 72-hour fermented dough. Having eaten a fair few pizzas over the years I can safely say it was probably one of the nicest pizzas I've tasted. And finished off with a warm chocolate fondant dessert. All in all, an excellent meal and, in my opinion, very reasonably priced.
