Bar Italia in Dublin

What a lovely experience at Bar Italia! In the middle of my birthday celebrations, I had the pleasure of enjoying one of my favourite cuisines — Italian! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was amazing. A wonderful dining experience that added another special moment to my birthday celebrations. Grazie mille! 🇮🇹❤️

Everything was perfect. From the atmosphere, to the kindness of the staff, to the truly excellent dishes. We had a carbonara and a cacio e pepe, plus a dessert. Everything was excellent; especially the carbonara, one of the best I've ever eaten.

I went to Dublin for a business trip at the end of last month, and there happened to be a delicious restaurant next to my hotel. Their tiramisu was especially amazing—smooth, creamy, and subtly sweet with a hint of bitterness. I really want to eat it again after I get back home! (*¯︶¯*) A gentleman named Kevin provided exceptional service, and both the food and the man left me with wonderful memories.

A benchmark in Ireland for authentic Italian cuisine: excellent ingredients, authentic flavors, just like in Italy. ​But special praise goes to the staff: professional, fast, and incredibly welcoming. You immediately feel at home.

It was fantastic. It was delicious. It has a great selection of meals. It has a great ambience. It has very good service. I do not really know ehat else I can tell about this restaurant. It was just perfect.

This restaurant has become a family tradition for us, as we have celebrated most of our major family occasions here over the past 8 years. The food and service have never disappointed us. Most recently, we celebrated our daughter’s christening here with a large group, and once again, everything was wonderful. We were very pleased with the food, drinks and cakes, as well as the service throughout the celebration. A special thank you to David and team for always making us feel so welcome and looking after us so well!

Always love Bar Italia. Excellent cooking and service. Menu changes regularly but classic Italian dishes and fresh fish always evident. Not sure about new pizza...and found the new wine list a bit tricky.... but overall? Yum.

We ate there two evenings in a row. We had a reservation, the owner still remembered my name, and the waitress remembered our orders—bravo! Absolutely delicious pizza, fine wines, and authentic Italian espresso. Highly recommended!

Bar Italia is a favourite in Dublin for authentic, high quality Italian food. David, Pierpaolo and the team of staff are excellent, always give such a warm welcome. Each pasta and pizza we’ve tried are delicious. Steak is really good too. The wine is exceptional with plenty of choice. It’s a really special place in a beautiful setting ☺️
