I really liked the food and the service

The restaurant is elegant, pleasant and quiet. The quality of the pasta and the recipe for its sauces are very good. However, our negative assessment is due to the treatment received. When we arrived, they had a hard time assigning us a table, and not because the place was full, but because we got the impression that we were not dressed according to what the restaurant expected (we had spent the day walking). Furthermore, and this seemed especially important to us, the restaurant requires a minimum of two dishes per diner to be ordered at dinner, something we consider inappropriate. For these reasons, we would not return.

A warm welcome, great service, a place with a pleasant atmosphere. But... What a disappointment with my truffle tagliatelle... Where is the taste of the truffle? Where are the truffle flavors? No smell. I'm really disappointed! What a shame... A thank you to the service, very pleasant waiter.

It has one of the best Italian dishes we have tried; the mushroom-stuffed pasta with parmesan “Panzerotti funghi porcini”. They are spectacular, give them a chance. We returned several times in one week. To share I recommend the Caprese di bufala. The carbonara and cacio e pepe, also very successful. About €70 for two people.

Never had black pasta before, it was incredible, service was excellent too.

Apart from food being amazing, we received outstanding service. Our son, who is 8, did not get the feel for his bolognaise, and kind staff prepared plain pasta just for him. Great place!

Fantastic meal here on a busy December evening. I went with the family after some shopping in the city after a long search for somewhere that had seating available for us we settled at Bar Italia Ristorante. We walked in and it was very busy. We were asked to wait just a few minutes for a table to become available and we're then brought upstairs and seated. The staff were very friendly, funny and made us all feel very welcome, you can tell they take pride in they're work. The food and wine was beyond great. Authentic Italian foods of the highest quality I've had in Ireland. Prices were very reasonable considering they are smack bang in the city centre and the venue itself is lovely. Well deserved 5 star review, can't recommend enough. Thank you

Bar Italia was recommended to us by our daughter who had visited previously so I was fairly confident of a good experience. And it was. We arrived slightly earlier than our reservation time but this wasn't a problem and we were shown straight to a table in an almost full restaurant. The serving staff were friendly and attentive. I chose the Pasta Carbonara and was warned about it being salty and peppery - and it was too, but in a very good way. My wife chose the Pizza Margherita made with 72-hour fermented dough. Having eaten a fair few pizzas over the years I can safely say it was probably one of the nicest pizzas I've tasted. And finished off with a warm chocolate fondant dessert. All in all, an excellent meal and, in my opinion, very reasonably priced.

La cuisine est excellente (pâtes carbonara traditionnelle et tagliatelles au ragoût de saucisse maison) et le service agréable Par contre attention si vous êtes dans la salle au sous sol, très mauvaise insonorisation. Du coup la table d’à côté très bruyante a rendu notre repas très désagréable Nous avons fait la remarque au serveur mais le manager n’a proposé que d’attendre qu’une autre table se libère ! Nous avions presque fini ! Aucun geste commercial au moment de la note Bien dommage
