Bar Italia in Dublin

Restaurant with friendly and courteous Italian staff. One of the best carbonaras I've ever eaten. Prices in line with Dublin. Recommended to get away from Irish food.

Bar Italia never fails! I recently dinned with a large group of friends and couldn't have had a better experience. Out of this world traditional dishes, amazing service and the most perfect relaxed atmosphere. Slowly becoming my favorite Italian restaurant in Dublin, always recommending to my friends. Can't wait to go back!

We went for a meal here last night and oh my god, it was spectacular. The service we received from our waiter (I’m sorry we didn’t get your name) was exceptional, he was so friendly and witty. We got the antipasto for our starter and shared it. It was gorgeous. The mixture of cheeses and meats with the warm bread was just stunning. For mains, my partner got the ragù tagliatelle and I got the carbonara. We also got potatoes and salad for our sides. I cannot fault any of the food we got. My partners ragu was so flavoursome and delicious, my carbonara was on a whole new level. The best carbonara I’ve ever had. We shared our dessert, a limoncello pastry. This again was lovely. We left with our stomaches absolutely bursting but wow what a meal. We will be back, cannot recommend this place enough!

Staff is very attentive. They care if you like your food or not, great food and service.

Excellent service, delicious carbonara, the sauce is heavy as it should and tagliatelle a la Bolognese delicious, tasty wine, delightful tiramisu.

Had dinner for my birthday this Monday. Our waiter was marco. The sweetest and funniest guy you’ll ever meet. Super welcoming staff and the lady sara who sang happy birthday was the most beautiful opera singer. Food was astonishing and everything was served hot. Prices are amazing also would 100% recommend and will be coming again !
