Haven’t been able to find anything quite like this without travelling far and wide! Cowboys one of the best spots around for food, and lovely to get a pint in Cooneys next door while you’re at it. Plenty of outdoor seating for the good weather. Very friendly staff couldn’t recommend highly enough. Well worth every euro to get brisket and ribs of this standard.

Amazing food. Sat outside the restaurant in piping hot sun… Service was amazing. Food brought out and checked on twice by staff to see if we were happy. Highly recommend for the ultimate BBQ experience.

Rockpool Restaurant

08/08/2025: We had 2 breakfasts and 2 Dinners at this place. The food was great, especially the custom breakfast options. I also loved the coffee from their in-house espresso machine
19/07/2025: Had a great evening meal there with my mother who had been given a voucher. All three courses were generous servings of perfectly cooked quality ingredients. The staff were super helpful and friendly too.

16/05/2025: Myself & my son played Baltinglass GC on May 15th. We would highly recommend this course. Firstly had a very friendly welcome from the lady receptionist . We then commenced play. The course is hilly by nature so a buggy is probably a good option although we decided to walk. Fairways are lush and green with lots of wooded areas. The greens are beautiful and true but not as fast as they appear. The Green keepers & grounds men are doing a great job. We really couldn’t fault the course and will definitely play here again . Highly recommended
