Had a lovely dinner at Barne Lodge. Drive past often and have always wanted to pop in. Had a hake special and it was great, always reasonably priced compared to similar places in Clonmel. Will definitely be back.

Barne lodge has got to be one of the nicest pub/ restaurants I’ve been in, the food is delicious, the staff are extremely pleasant & helpful, it’s in a great location also. It is also a fantastic place for holding events.

Busy place plenty of options available for food. Enjoyed the lunch, Sherry tifle not set and appeared to be put together quickly, custard like from a tin or carton. Staff attentive and polite

Decided to go here as a special treat, family of 5 including 3 kids (we were so pleasantly surprised with the price of everything) My husband had the t bone steak cooked perfectly he said it was one of the best he’s had. I had the black pudding salad which was absolutely gorgeous (still thinking about it). Staff were so accommodating to our kids who are typical fussy children. One also with dietary requirements. Can’t recommend this place enough and can’t wait to go back.

Was recommended this place by a friend who eats here weekly, had the most amazing chicken curry and sticky toffee pudding with a latte to finish. Food was absolutely delightful and the facilities were perfect. Will 100% be back.
