Barne Lodge in

I came here with my whole family, adults and children, and we had a wonderful meal. We ordered fish and chips (cod) and a beef sandwich with mushrooms and onions, which was spectacularly good. The service was very attentive and pleasant; it was like eating at home after a hike to Cahir Castle and the Swiss Cottage. I highly recommend it.

We had a fantastic meal here! My grandad said it was the best fish and chips he’s had in years — perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The burger was absolutely delicious too. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the service was quick, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this pub for a great meal and warm atmosphere!

Would have given 5 stars for food but there was not enough vegetables on our plates for what we ordered. Also pricy compared to other restaurants/pubs. Staff very nice so can't fault that but hey give us enough vegetables.

Called in for dinner around 4pm on a Sunday. Service was quick and attentive. Food was very average. Menu quite limited. Kids pasta was disappointing- the sauce was unpleasant. Won’t be rushing back

What friendly staff, great quality food and plentiful!

We stopped on the way home from kilkenny last Sunday. It was myself husband and son. The staff were really nice and helpful. It was busy but we were seated straight away. The food was brought out to our son first thankfully ☺️. He devoured his baby bowl. Our mains were delicious. We didn't get desserts but we will 100% be back. delicious 😋

Had a lovely dinner at Barne Lodge. Drive past often and have always wanted to pop in. Had a hake special and it was great, always reasonably priced compared to similar places in Clonmel. Will definitely be back.
