Bastion Kitchen in Athlone

We stumbled upon this Café randomly and I'm very glad we did! Not only does it look good from outside (very colorful and inviting), the interior design is also very cozy. You can find a great variety of food, which tastes amazing with many vegan options here. Prices are not too high and absolutely reasonable. The ladies working here are very kind, helpful to give directions and recommendations for what to do in town, and know how to create a cheerful and welcoming atmosphere.☺

Gorgeous lunch at a reasonable price for organising restaurant. Hummus and Falafel salad was delicious.

Stopped here for lunch on one of our trips. My partner really enjoyed her lunch, I was a little less convinced but it did the job. Initially the food came out incorrect and we the bill was incorrect (one of the items was charged double)

Had the most amazing breakfast here this morning. I didn't realising avocado toast could taste so delicious. The different flavours used work so well together. I'll be back the next time I visit Athlone!

Speciale plek voor lunch of ontbijt. Niet de gebruikelijke ontbijten zoals full Irish, maar bijzondere biologische opties. Erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.

Delicious, fresh tasty food! Abit of a wait but servers were all very friendly and helpful and the high quality food was worth the wait. Will certainly be back. Thanks to all at Bastion 😊
