Batoni's in Emo

Had a booking for 7.30pm, not greeted upon arrival, simply told we'd have to wait until a table was cleaned. Staff scarcely attentive and not very friendly. Starter was lovely, main course @ 32.95 each (seabass) was very disappointing....overcooked, skimpy fillets and vegetables which had been zinged jn microwave. Lack of attention by waiting staff throughout the evening. Has really disimproved since out last visit about 18 months ago, despite being a third more expensive. This was a birthday celebration and we wanted to stay local...expected better.

Fine dining, great staff lovely atmosphere.

My wife and I went to Batonis this Sunday evening, we enjoyed the food but the staff could have been more friendly ,they laughed and joked among themselves but very little with the customers , my wife had a steak whitch was lovely and I like pasta but the waiter put little effort into explaining the different pastas they had but I did enjoy it though and a little friendly smile would have gone a long way

Food was absolutely divine but the atmosphere was ruined once the restaurant got busier. It is not nice to hear older staff or management shouting at the younger staff and demanding orders in a rude manner. A little bit of respect/patience is clearly needed for their colleagues. Please note, the girl who served us tonight was professional, friendly and courteous.

I attended a very large function in this beautiful restaurant last Friday night. It was a retirement celebration for a colleague and there were 78 members of staff present. From start to finish, this was a wonderful night facilitated by the very professional staff In Batoni’s. We had a beautiful menu which was slightly different to main menu. However the variety and qualify of food on this special menu for the celebration left no one wanting. We had a number of coeliacs in our group and there was no problem facilitating their dietary requirements. I myself had goats cheese starter, a really tasty rib eye steak followed by a divine tiramisu. Tea and coffee was also served. We interrupted the meal after the main course to take a group photo out in the courtyard. This didn’t cause any problems and we were allowed to re arrange the courtyard furniture to facilitate the photo. Service was excellent, very attentive but relaxed. Tables were served at different times but this allowed the group to mingle and chat during courses. After the meal and speeches many of the group moved to the lovely bar which is adjacent where the celebrations continued. Highly recommend this venue and well done to all the wonderful staff on being able to facilitate such a large group while maintaining very high standards.

There were 78 in our party and every single member of the team went out of their way to ensure that the night was truly memorable. We had a beautiful menu which had a section of starters , main courses and desserts from the main menu. I had goats cheese starter, rib eye steak as main course and a very tasty tiramisu for dessert. All tables were served at different times and this allowed people to mix and mingle between courses. After the starter, the group went out to the beautiful courtyard which was adjacent where a group photo was taken. We were allowed to re arrange the furniture to facilitate such a large group . When the meal was over some went out to the cosy bar which is thru the door to continue the celebrations while some sat drinking wine in the restaurant. Overall every single person was thrilled with the beautiful meal we had, the fantastic service , the lovely ambiance and most importantly value for money. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Managed to get an early booking at the weekend which was great as its a busy restaurant. Starters and mains were wonderful. Prawns and bruschettas were full of flavour. Fish of the day was a really well cooked halibut with a beautiful sauce, buttered potatoes and fresh veg. 2 pasta mushroom and bacon dishes also well cooked. Service was good and attentive although a little slow given there was plenty of floor staff on duty. Restaurant was difficult to get a booking though it wasn't very full at the only time of our booking from 6.30-8.00pm. It ought to have been possible to get a later booking. However all in all it was a lovely family meal, a bit pricey but well worth it for the quality of food on offer.
