We tried Battoni’s on Friday evening. The food was excellent, but overall it wasn’t for us. The atmosphere felt flat, the way staff were spoken to was uncomfortable to watch, and the place could do with a good tidy.
Reading some of the glowing reviews from local high-flyers, you would have to wonder whether they do not travel very often, have unusually modest expectations, or were exceptionally well looked after with the dinner and red wine. Either way, our experience did not match the hype.
Amazing dinner. Valeria is a little gem there. She is so chatty and looking after you so well. Amazing food and atmosphere but also staff is friendly. Keep Valeria ❤️ she made my day
