Great pub, very good prices, very friendly and chatty staff but my one complaint is a staff member who spent his apparent entire shift chatting to his friends decided that me and my friends (who had just finished our festival shift and wanted some shade and drinks) weren't allowed to take a break from drinking, he came up uncomfortablely close to me in paticular as I take it as the only man of the group and told us if we weren't drinking we had to move and let his friends sit down, he even had the gall to say that my drink was water (which was a malibu and 7up), he continued to stare daggers at me the entire time we were there, absolutely ridiculous carry on from a staff member and the owners of the pub should really consider who they employ and allow to doss off and chat their entire shift. (If the owner of this establishment would like to do anything about this mouthy staff member checking the cameras of the 24th of July from 5pm until half 7 you will see this man harassing a group of young women and one young man, again think this is a great little spot brought down by one staff member)
I attended Batoni's for a special birthday. The food was beautiful and the service was excellent. I would recommend it for special occasions. Good variety on the menu also
The staff were attentive and courteous, unfortunately a less than satisfactory experience in all other regards. The food was overcooked and bland, the wine (an adequate Alberiño) was ok - not worth €35. I was disappointed with what we received for €157 for two people. I have no problem paying that and even more if the meal is delicious and exciting and original. At the end of the meal I asked for an espresso (which is pretty basic) to be told that the machine was already cleaned and here's your bill...it was 10.00pm. Disappointing. Would not recommend this restaurant as it is too expensive for the quality of the food.
Absolutely fantastic meal today at Batonis. I want to pay credit to the staff who were all wonderfully friendly and I must say that the service was very fast considering they were catering for a large function at the same time- we didn’t wait over long for the food and it was excellent quality and really well presented. Thank you for a great experience we will be sure to come back.
Was here today and the food was just delicious. Presentation was beautiful and the tastiest food i have had in a long time. Great service and good value also, will definitely be going back and would recommend to anyone
Amazing place! The service was outstanding, with all staff being friendly and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere inside was warm and inviting. Risotto Beef was out of this world
