Beachcomber food bar in Malahide

Second time here, the staff are friendly but stern but have to put up with a lot. My food both times was OK, especially after having a few beers. Both times the chips were very undercooked and the cheese is never melted when you order cheesy chips. The baguette for the chicken is spongy, almost like it’s been microwaved back from frozen. Offering fresh baguette would really improve the offering. TLDR - 1) cook chips for longer or at warmer temperatures 2) use better/fresher ingredients
