Always our go to place for food in Athlone, great menu, loads of space and lovely friendly helpful staff 😍

We had a great meal here. The service is very friendly and nice. Good place to go with children.

Wanted to try this place as we are trying to be more conscious of supporting local . I don't like leaving. Ad reviews for local places but Unfortunately we left disappointed. The place has great potential and the staff are lovely. But the ordering system is terrible, and I'm only in my 30s I can't imagine an older person trying to manage. The QR code was painful to use , takes too much time and difficult to select exactly what you want. The tables are too small for the amount of people they are set for , not enough space for everyones plates. Food wasn't great , pancakes were ok nothing special. Sausages were not good , hard on the outside. Very overpriced. 3.50 for one single sausage for my child ?? Another 3.50 if I wanted to add one piece of pudding for him ? In total came to over 60 euro for 3 adults and one child who got one sausage. Bigger portions for less in other places , unfortunately doing yourselves no favours

Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. There is also a beautiful view from the cafe.

My experience at this cafe was excellent. The staff were so welcoming to me and my dog Alfie. They provided some treats, a water bowl and even a little mat for him to relax on. Alfie is a nervous dog and the staff were so kind, they went above and beyond. I had the mushrooms on toast breakfast which was so tasty and a lovely coffee too. I would highly recommend this cafe and most especially to anyone travelling with their dog.
