5 Star Experience I recently had the pleasure of visiting Bective Tea Rooms, and I can’t say enough wonderful things about the experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. It's rare to find such genuinely friendly service these days. The food was simply outstanding. Every dish was a delightful blend of fresh, high-quality ingredients prepared to perfection. The sandwiches were deliciously crisp, the scones were warm and buttery, and the cakes were an absolute treat — each one as beautiful as it was tasty. You can truly tell that a lot of care and love goes into every bite. My favourite was the pork and black pudding sausage roll with a tasty relish on the side As for the setting, it's nothing short of spectacular. The tea rooms are beautifully decorated, creating a cozy yet elegant atmosphere that’s perfect for unwinding. Whether you’re sitting by the window enjoying the garden views or nestled in a quiet pod, the ambiance is just magical. It's the kind of place where time seems to slow down, allowing you to savor each moment. If you’re looking for a perfect afternoon escape, Bective Tea Rooms owned by Noel and Valerie is a hidden gem that I highly recommend. I can’t wait to return! Best Pat Patterson and family

Great coffee and some of the best French toast I've ever had.

What can I say, only fabulous. Called in for a cuppa, excellent menu, very friendly helpful staff.

We were at the last Bective by Night. Food was very average. Wine choice is very limited. Nice people and nice place but need to up their game to get us back.

Great atmosphere, ideal facilities if you can seat in a small room. Food is first class and staff cannot be friendlier. They even showed us the dishes in pictures!

Absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is cozy, the service is top-notch, and the food is simply incredible. Their fresh bread is out of this world, and the homemade jam and chutney they sell are a must-have — we bought some to take home, and they didn’t last long!

Lovely place, beautiful food, friendly staff, but very slow service when busy (morning and lunchtime). Would definitely recommend!
