Found this cafe by coincidence as I am an inpatient of St.James hospital and wanted to get out for a walk. From the moment I walked in I felt very welcomed. The food was amazing (I had the piggy panini and pistachio crumble), a requested change was no problem and the staff was just very nice and accommodating. It felt to me like a very authentic little Italian place in the heart of Dublin. I’ll be definitely back (might even go today again ;-)) and would highly recommend to check this place out if you are around.

We are Uruguayans living in Mallorca for 22 years. Every time we go on vacation to any country, at least once, we eat in an Italian restaurant, they never fail. We were walking through the streets of Dublin and we found this restaurant with the seal of Italy, wonderful. The three of us ate pasta, different ones and all of them were delicious, the pistachio dessert was an 11 and the service was wonderful. We feel at home. And something else to highlight, the super clean bathroom. It is a simple place but it does not need anything else.

Nestled in the shadow of the iconic Guinness Factory, Bell Pesto is a culinary treasure that deserves more than a mere footnote in the annals of dining in the city. This quaint Italian restaurant is a beacon of authentic flavors, offering an escape to the Italian countryside with every bite. From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped in an ambiance that is both warm and inviting, reminiscent of a family-run trattoria tucked away in a Tuscan village. The decor strikes a perfect balance between rustic charm and elegant simplicity, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The menu, though concise, is a masterpiece of culinary craftsmanship. Each dish is a testament to the chef's dedication to sourcing the freshest ingredients and to the art of Italian cooking. The pasta, handmade daily, is nothing short of divine. Whether it's the silky ribbons of pappardelle in a robust ragù or the delicate pillows of ravioli filled with seasonal flavors, each bite transports you straight to Italy. But the pasta isn't the only star of the show. The salads are a revelation, showcasing the vibrant produce of the region in combinations that are both innovative and delicious. The Insalata Fantasia, with its medley of mixed greens, ripe tomatoes, artichokes, and a generous sprinkle of shaved Parmesan, is dressed in a light, citrusy vinaigrette that dances on the palate. The service at Bell Pesto is as impeccable as its cuisine. The staff, with their genuine smiles and attentive manner, ensure that every meal feels like a special occasion. They are knowledgeable about the menu and eager to offer recommendations, making each visit a personalized experience. Bell Pesto is not just a restaurant; it's a journey to the heart of Italy, offering an authentic taste of Italian cuisine that's both exquisite and heartwarming. Its proximity to the Guinness Factory only adds to its charm, providing the perfect culinary contrast to explore after a day of touring. For anyone seeking the best pasta and salads in town, look no further than this little slice of Italian paradise. It's a dining experience that will leave you dreaming of your next visit before you've even left the table.
