I just ordered a minestrone soup with garlic bread as I have the flu at the moment. Billy called and asked about my gluten free preference for the soup and made sure that not only soup was hot and very tasty but also the extra effort of reaching out to ensure it’s gluten free was much appreciated and it will now be my go to restaurant and location for comfort food.

Butlers Chocolate Café, Limerick

16/09/2025: Their cappuccino is always spot on — smooth, tasty, and worth coming back for. But the chocolate drinks? Way too sweet for me. I tried their hot chocolate before and today the Mocha (€4.60) and my goodness… I wonder how someone can drink such sugar syrup in the morning. Great if you love dessert-for-breakfast, not so great if you actually want to taste the coffee.
