Bella Vista in Bundoran

Fabulous, very sorry to hear its closing down. Fabulous food staff where great.

Good menu and food was excellent. They found us a table for two despite being fully booked.

Nice setting, good pizza, not too expensive, pleasant service, but it can get a bit crowded.

We went to Bella Vista for dinner this evening and I wish we'd tried it sooner because it was absolutely beautiful! A brilliant spot with great views of the beach and dunes, it has a lovely atmosphere and a menu with lots of good options (we're vegetarian and were spoilt for choice!) The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the food was absolutely gorgeous: we shared a garlic pizza bread for starters and it was enough for the 4 of us as a starter. I then had the pasta arrabiata for mains bc it's my absolute favourite, and it was quite possibly the best version of the dish I've ever had anywhere - so rich but light at the same time, with so much flavour and the right pasta to sauce ratio. I cleaned the plate and would go back tomorrow to get it again if we weren't leaving Bundoran. My family had pizza which they very much enjoyed, and we shared some lovely chips which were skin-on and very roastie-esque, which we all loved. I'm just sorry I didn't have room for dessert as I imagine it would've been of the same beautiful quality. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough - I wish we'd tried it as soon as we got here, as we wouldn't have been out of it! The staff were cheerful and accommodating, and clearly the kitchen staff are just as talented. Looking forward to our next visit to Bella Vista next time we're in Bundoran.

A wonderful restaurant with a beautiful view of the ocean. The pasta, salad, and calzones are delicious. There is kids menu, and I highly recommend trying the hot chocolate with liqueur, which is absolutely incredible.

We visited here for a meal on a Saturday evening. Nice atmosphere with pleasant staff however we were not impressed with the food. We had a pizza, carbonara and breaded chicken escalope. The chicken was obviously frozen, was way over cooked and was served with a handful of chips which tasted like they were cooked in the same oil as fish. The carbonara tasted off. The pizza was the only reasonable item but even at that there is a better pizza joint on the main st. The entire meal 3 mains plus 3 drinks was €75. If the meal had of been something special I wouldn’t have minded. We used the previous reviews as our basis for coming here, perhaps the kitchen was having an off day but for the cost it should have been better, certainly not on our list of places to return to.
